thenewlibrahi2 0 Posted October 28, 2006 I am sitting at 3-4 and in last place in my division. I had the 11th pick out of 12 in my league this year and love my team, but they can't produce. Here is my roster: (1/QB, 2/RB, 2/WR, 1/TE, 1/K, 1/DST, standard scoring, 3 pt. bonuses at 100 yards rush/rec.) Vick Rivers Portis C. Taylor Tatum Bell Mike Bell Droughns Fitz Driver Colston Eric Parker Kasay DST Jags DST Falcons Our DST is scored based on yards against, t/os, points against, sacks, etc. The Jags and Falcons have been bad lately. Some DST are getting upwards of 35 points while mine are getting 5. I was offered a trade of T.O. and the Ravens for Driver and C. Taylor. I was thinking of making a counter offer of Portis and Colston for T.O. and the Ravens. Any thoughts? I don't want to give up Taylor. I don't think Tatum will get me that group, so I figure giving up Portis, who scores 25 one week and 5 the next is the logical choice. Anyone? EDIT: Since everyone thinks I am ok, what if I tried this.... I deal Portis (or Tatum or Chester) away and get WR like Andre Johnson. I know I can get him. Then, when Fitz returns, I deal Driver away for a RB in case I lose one of my starters....????????
Return of the King 0 Posted October 28, 2006 I'd sit tight, the Ravens def is not quite as good now as it was early in the season. I'd rather see you trade Portis for a top tier wr like Holt or Harrison.

ggroovy17 0 Posted October 28, 2006 I'd sit tight as well because Jax def. is going to have easy matchups after this week plus defenses are too hard to predict. I would try to sell M.Vick high right now and see if you can get a decent WR. P.Rivers is going to be the better start week in and week out. Don't get rid of your RB's because they'll carry you through the stretch run. Sounds like you're just having bad luck, you just have to ride that one out. thenewlibrahi2 0 Posted October 28, 2006 would portis for andre johnson be fair?
wessel1313 0 Posted October 28, 2006 I would hold pat. Your team is strong, just need some breaks. I would not give up Portis. He is a legitimate number one every week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=248639
rottytiny 7 Posted October 28, 2006 Are the Ravens that dominate in your league? I think you can do better then that deal for Portis. Trading a RB for a def doesn't seems like a good idea to me but if your league is defense heavy and you need to trade Portis try to get the bears atleast, before you settle on the Ravens. nosferatu9368 0 Posted October 28, 2006 I'd try and work a trade involving Portis, high ankle sprains take weeks to heal and Washington might be throwing in the towel soon. I'm not sure id go after TO with the QB situation in Dallas now. Package Portis and Colston and try to get Holt, Steve Smith or Harrison. I sure wouldn't trade Taylor and Driver for TO and Balt D. Good Luck Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=248646 Peace...
