just_want_2_win 0 Posted November 3, 2006 I have the following roster, non-dynasty. QBs: Bulger, Delhomme (start 1) RBs: Tiki, Lundy, Jones-Drew, Barber III, Foster (2) WRs: Boldin, Colston, Evans (2) TEs: Des. Clark, McMichael (1) K: M. Andersen D: Seattle I started 0-3 been working WW and trades big time gotten to 3-5 just upset the previously unbeaten team...picked up Andersen and Seattle for this week's matchups, having released Rayner and Panthers. Bulger will be my starter all the rest of the way barring injury -- and he's a bit fragile. That being so, I'd like a good backup. Who do you think -- stay with Delhomme or go with Kitna? Someone just released Kitna for Huard (bad move, IMO). Strength of schedule http://www.fftoday.com/stats/fantasystats.php?o=3 seems to give a bit of an edge to Kitna but he has 4 more INTs than Delhomme. Leave your link will reply ASAP. Cjt727 0 Posted November 3, 2006 I like Kitna a little better than Delhomme. He always seems to put up some pretty good points. Good luck
hermdogg 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Kitna has been solid all year. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250329
mgm32 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Kitna has been doing good fantasy wise this year. Go with him. See mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250241
scott ross 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Im leaning towards Jake. CAR wil have good seconf half IMO
eb122 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Well I would have to say stick with Delhomme. If you want a solid consistent score each week who will only get better as the year progesses you have to stick with Jake. Kitna will have alot of bad games but also some very good ones. If you lose points for fumbles and interceptions then Jake is the easy choice as Kitna is good for a few turnovers every game. Your team is consitently solid throughout so I would stick with the more consistent backup QB and keep Jake. Bulger is the man the rest of the year so you may not even need Jake but a solid backup and I have him as a starter in one league(thank u trent green). Good luck, Eb
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Kitna over Delhomme by far, at least that's what I think. Kitna has been among the top 5 fantasy QBs this year. He has serious weapons in Williams and Furrey, plus KJones can catch the ball too. Help me here.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250324
Candygram4Mongo 8 Posted November 3, 2006 Its a tough choice. Delhomme has SSmith, which should improve his numbers. But Roy is having a great year for Kitna, and KJ can make big gains from short passes, and the schedule has some easy spots. Go with Kitna. See mine plz http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250363
Ray_T 779 Posted November 3, 2006 Kitna is the most underrated fantasy QB in the league this year. based on the scoring system in my league, he is the #5 ranked QB overall Year to date and Delhomme is ranked #13. I think you would be dumb not to pick him up if he is available on waivers. If you have a fringe player (ie. 2nd string TE or 4th string WR)you can drop, it may be worth your while to drop him instead of Delhomme and then shop Delhomme around to see if you can get anything for Delhomme in a trade rather than just dumping him outright. He is probably one of the best #2 fantasy QB's out there, so I'm sure someone will pay to get him.
mrgymrat 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Delhomme screwed me over last week but I would agree to maybe make room to carry Kitna and shop Delhomme instead of just dropping him and giving him away for free. He does have some value. Maybe see if you can deal him to Bledsoe owner for someone worth having off of his roster. He's too consistent to just give away for free.
