Brees just cuz Pittsburgh will continue throwing the ball and you DON'T run on Pitt, so he'll have to throw. One thing to note about Pitt's secondary; Ike Taylor probably lost his starting job at corner cuz he was torched numerous times this year. Look for a stronger pass def from Pitt but they'll still give up passing yards/TDs.

 

No brainer on Moroney.

got to agree on the Brees/Maroney consensus.

 

Don't buy too much into the McNair back at Tenessee revenge game hype. It will be Lewis and that DST doing the damage...

 

Brees will take to the air early and often and figures to put up points as he's been doing all year.

 

Maroney will tote the rock between the 20s and rattle off some nice runs. If they get a lead he may even see some goal line work depending on how Dillon is doing. But, Corey's called himself out a few times in the last few games which leads me to believe they will eventually rest him for the postseason. Anyhow, that's probably too much analysis on this one.

I guess i'm the odd one out because I think mcnair over Brees due to weather, and I think pitt is going to bring it after the way denver handed it to them, plus i like the mcnair home coming. Maroney gets slight edge over barber

Brees is a must start every week at this point.

 

I might actually lead towards Barber. Both split carries and while Maroney may get more touches, Barber almost always gets at least 1TD a game....he gets almost all of the Cowboys' goal line carries.

If you are in a heavy TD league, I'd go MBIII against the Cards. Maroney has been a little banged up so they might grind out Dillon against the Jets.

 

I like McNair in the emotional game, but I think Brees is a must start every week. McNair might impress against his old squad, but ride Brees out.
