chitown81 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I need a QB for 1st week of the playoffs. Please give me #1 and #2 choice, since some of these guys are off the Wire and might not be obtainable. Eli @ Carolina (is he on the comeback? pretty tough matchup though) V. Young @ HOU (best matchup, and he's had a couple good games, but can I trust an unproven rookie in my playoffs? he's on WW, might not get him anyway) Big Ben vs. CLE on Thurs. night (off WW) Kitna vs. Min (I had been planning on him originally, but Minny pass D was better last week--against Rex anyway) Pennington vs. Buf (off WW) I'll answer you back. Cjt727 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I'm almost ready to play Eli this week myself. He really rebounded against Dallas even though they lost. A bit of a chance, but keep in mind that the Giants will be fighting for the plaoffs against them this week and have to win....which should motivate Manning a bit more. Kitna's really been slacking lately, and the Minny defence has inproved some. If you get Young though then you might want to play him. A little less risky. He's been on a hot streak, and the Texans defence isn't exactly good. Otherwise I'd go with Manning
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted December 6, 2006 1 Kitna .. don't think Min's pass D was better, more like Grossman sucked. 2 Eli .. He was actually better the last game Thanks for mine
Cjt727 0 Posted December 6, 2006 1 Kitna .. don't think Min's pass D was better, more like Grossman sucked. Bit of both lol. Living in the Chicago-land area I've been hearing excuses for the past 2 months but I personally feel he's not a good QB at all.
bravo 0 Posted December 6, 2006 Honestly is Young any less of a risk than Eli at this point? With either of those two you are risking a lot, but both have the potential for big numbers. I have been known to be a fantasy risk-taker, so I would go with Young.

I would go with either Big Gay Ben or Young. Young has an easy matchup but is still a little unproven...I would go with Ben unless you are heavily penalized for INT's...because he will probably put up 2 Td's and 2 Int's... Hell No on Kitna... Eli has always sucked... and Pennington...well He could be considered... Thanks for the help with mine
swede2000 0 Posted December 6, 2006 probably Kitna (Eli and VY would close behind) Good luck and thanks for answering mine!
The Hoff 0 Posted December 6, 2006 Go with Young in his return to his hometown. The Titans are playing out of their minds right now - I wouldn't be afraid to pencil him in for top 5 QB performance this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257987

Go long 0 Posted December 6, 2006 You're going to hate this but go with Pennington. You now have everyone with a difference of opinion. I just feel that because the Jets are home, they need the wins to stay in the playoff hunt, Mangini is doing a great job at coaching, and Coles and Cotchery are really doing well, you need to start Pennington. Also, Bills safety is out and they will be playing someone who has not played all year. Thanks for mine.
ffsmack 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I would take Young with that matchup and then Eli. Thanks for mine
Brownsbackers 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I'd go with YOung. If you count QB rushing yardage Young gets you about a TD worth of points in rushing Here is my order 1) YOung 2) Roethlisberger 3) E Manning ........... 10) Kitna Here is mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=258102
Garson1 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I have Eli in one of my leagues and am playing him over Vince Young. I think Eli has a chance if Garcia got over on Carolina.
