Ray_T 753 Posted December 20, 2006 my team is my signature. I have an interesting Dilemma.... I'm in the final, and my opponent has some poor matchups. I am thinking about picking up Rattay. I may not use him, but it will prevent him from using him if he decides not to go with his guy. His starters at the moment: Farve Vs Min Cutler Vs Cin Marvin harrison Vs HOU Roy Williams Vs Chicago Steve SMith Vs Atlanta Gore Vs Min Dillon Vs Jax Shockey Vs NO on his bench he has: Rothlisberger Fason Jennings Droughns Dunn My starters are Bulger and A. SMith at WR I have Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, and Furrey (may change to Berrian, but not keen on having so many players starting from one team) At RB I have LT and MB III, but may switch to Ronnie Brown if his health holds up or to Cedric Benson if it looks like Jones wont play. At TE Dez Clark on the Bench: McNabb (injured) Ronnie Brown (injured, but may start), Kevin Jones, and Berrian This is a keeper league (keep 3) so dropping KJ may not be something I want to do. Ditto for McNabb. Regardless of injury. I could drop Berrian or Furrey to pickup Rattay. But once I drop one of them, my opponent may pick him up to keep me from changing my mind. (which may not be a big deal) so who would you drop/start out of Berrian/furrey? another option would be to drop KJ if it appears he will miss most of the next season due to this injury, but I wouldnt mind keeping the option on him if he has a quick recovery. westlak 1 Posted December 20, 2006 Under normal circumstances I would drop Furrey and Keep Berian. But with Bears having the #1seed all wrapped up Berian may pay sparingly. Its been my experience that coaches in this situation who say their starters will play the whole game usually come out at halftime. So my suggestion is keep furrey. cdogge 17 Posted December 20, 2006 Well, Rattay sucks no matter what he did last week...so don't worry about him...but if you drop somebody drop Bernard....it won't take long for chicago to realize mark bradley is a thousand times better (GO OU!!!)...so yeah..
