Rechtien 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I hate to pick to RBs on the road but I like Jones at Mia and Green at Carolina. Rechtien
WoodDuck2003 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Wow tough decision. I think you have to kick out TJ based on his health status and his matchup. So it gets down to Ward, Green and Jones. I think Jones has the toughest matchup and he is in a RBBC and he is the second best RB in that RBBC. For these reasons I think you have to go Green/Ward. Hope this helps and thanks for seeing mine. Melvinbet 5 Posted September 15, 2007 Thanks for mine. I like Green and J.Jones this week. I really thought the GB def looked good and TJones is a bit of a ?.
ashieash 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Thanks for mine. I like Green and J.Jones this week. I really thought the GB def looked good and TJones is a bit of a ?. I think Ward is no brainer. Green Bay strength is pass defense they will let up some rushing yards to a offense which is committed to the run. Without Eli or Eli less than 100% I see the Giants leaning on the running game. For the other its a little harder. I haven't trusted Ahman Green or Houston's offense in a while and will need to see more before I feel comfortable starting him. That being said go with J Jones hes healthy and proven. Thomas Jones needs to prove it to us that hes recovered from injury and gells nice with hes new team before starting him. I wouldnt expect a bunch from jones but I see him as the safest bet at RB2 for you. Thanks for your response

JazzyJeff30 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Another vote for JJ and Ward. Ward looked pretty good last week and without Eli playing i think he will get the rock alot. I would start JJ just because i think the Carolina def is strong and i dont see Ahman doing that much. TJ is hurt and i dont see Baltimore giving up the yards on the ground to him. smedia 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Tough choice here... I like Julius Jones and Ahmad Green Both NY running backs will have back up QBs playing and they are both playng good Defs... have a feeling they will be looking at 8 in the box all day... making Qbs beat them.. Slim Pickins 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I'll give my $.02 and in order of preference: Ward - the Giants with Coughlin rarely abandon the run. I like Ward to put up good numbers but am concerned about GB's D as they looked good last weekend. Green - as Schuab continues to demonstrate an ability to get the ball downfield, the running lanes will open up. Dayne is not a concern as the majority of his runs came late in the game as Hou was running down the clock. JJones - I have him on every team I currently field and am disappointed. He just isn't in the same league as Barber III and don't think he runs with the power to get in the endzone. He's quickly becoming the #2 RB on that team. TJones - in a PPR league he's money. And without injury would be my first choice. With Pennington out, the NYJ will run the ball and stick to play-action a lot. If he starts, he should be in your lineup. ScottyArms 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Out of those 4 Ward is your best choice. The next 3 options aren't that great but Ahman Green would be my choice cause the Jets looked terrible and Chad will be out so who knows what the offense will do and JJ seems to be second fiddle to Barber now. Good luck and thanks for answering mine.
ffrookie312 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I gotta say Ward and Green also
Lake209 43 Posted September 16, 2007 Another vote for D. Ward. Why not start him while you can...the Giant's coaches apparently LOVE this kid. Looks like he can catch...looks like Eli's going to play. Like most everyone else, I say eliminate TJ b/c of health and the Ravens. Green is my pick, over JJ, since Green starts and JJ splits. I don't think either one will catch you much more than 3 balls. Barber is more likely to get a TD than JJ. Ahman might get a shot or two.
