PudgeDawg 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Bulger...I am not 100% sold on Kitna just yet(and I own him!) plus I am still suspicious about SFs D and their offensive line is almost as bad as Cleveland's leaving the D on the field a lot! at RB...I like Gore and Mccalister in good matchups WRs: Wayne(gotta go with the stud...) and Holmes looked GREAT last week and now has Big Ben's trust...plus Buffalo doesn't have the D to cover WP, Ward and Holmes...I expect a big game... for your flex I go with Green...starting the RB over any WR... here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287631

I would lean toward Kitna just because he is going to throw the ball 40+ times sunday and Bulger just lost his all world tackle. I would also start Brown against my beloved Skins. We almost lost to the Phins at home. Enough said. Mccallister is pretty safe to start as well. He should get in the endzone at least once if not twice this weekend. As far as flex goes it's between Green and Holmes and I always lean towards starting a RB in a flex if I can. It's a little safer. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287580
The OPH 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Kitna cause hes going to pass all day on Mins tough defence Gore and Mcallister cause Mcallister will grind it out like SA last week with at least one TD Wayne and Holmes cause hes coming along and is explosive flex with Reggie brown since that offensive cant be shutdown 2 weeks in a row heres mine, thanks in advance http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287633
czorn 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I like Kitna's matchup better than Bulger's, and DET is the poor man's IND when it comes to throwing the ball around. (It's not like they're gonna run against MIN...). Gore and McAllister are the easy RB choices. Wayne, natch. I like Holmes narrowly over Brown; he's more likely to get the red-zone TD. For flex, I say Ward. I like his matchup vs. GB better than Green trying to run against the Panthers. (And please help...).

I think Ward is gonna do better than Green, mainly because Green will split carries with Dayne.
mgm32 0 Posted September 15, 2007 just playing devil's advocate on my own thread but NYG just signed Hedgecock as a fullback which would indicate that Droughns wont be at fullback as much and may be getting some of Ward's carries. Help with this one 1st... ...and this one 2nd
bdt 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Kitna Gore, McCallister Wayne, Holmes Go with Ward in the Flex
WindyCitySportsFan 0 Posted September 15, 2007 I'm starting Bulger and Gore this week myself. Wayne is a must start. Mcalister will do fine against Tampa. I like Holmes over Brown because Pitt has convinced me to some extent over Philly that they can produce consistently on offense and Ben appears to be back on his game. With that said, Pitt played a terrible Browns team and Philly is now playing an average Skins team as opposed to an above average Packers D. I was unimpressed with McNabb though. I say Green for the flex start for the same reasons over Brown. I also believe that Carolina may have to pay some serious attention to Johnson and Jones in the passing game, which helps take the pressure off of Green. As for splitting carries, it's not significant enough to worry about. It didn't seem like there was any back that didn't split at least a few carries last week, including LT. No matter how you chose you should have a productive week. Bulger Gore, Mcalister Wayne, Holmes Green Please see mine.
DaBeerz 88 Posted September 16, 2007 I prefer Bulger against San Francisco defense. Kitna is a decent play, but the Vikings actually have a pretty good defense this year, I would steer clear. I know the Rams kind of sucked in week 1, but they will bounce back. Wayne is a no-brainer this week, you know he will get his looks this weeks against the Titans. Gore is a must start, the rams were gouged by the run when they played Carolina I say go with Ward against Green bay, he looked pretty good against Dallas, and he is not splitting carries like McAllister McAllister would be good at the flex position though, you know he will get touches. I don't like Coles at all this week with a backup QB starting. I don't like Marshall as Denver is a run-first offense especially with some erratic play by Cutler. So that basically narrows your choice to Brown or Holmes, I would start Holmes simply because at least he has scored this year, maybe his QB will look his way again. Brown has 1 rec for 14 yards, you can't risk another week like that.
