discmonkey 0 Posted September 22, 2007 I've been offered a trade and I'm a little torn: Other team will give me Marion Barber and Derrick Mason...I give up Jason Witten and either Lee Evans or Deion Branch. My RB3 is Tatum Bell (or maybe Kevin Jones in a few weeks) so Barber would be an upgrade there. I feel like my receivers are reasonably strong and I could lose one of them without too much grief. I could also see if instead of Mason he'll give me Greg Olsen or Jay Feely. Neither are that great, but they could fill in some bye week slots. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! HenryChinaski 1 Posted September 22, 2007 I would do it. Like you said, you can afford to lose a WR... But you really do need an extra RB. Barber is going to roll all year... Especially since you still have Cooley - yeah def make that trade. You will be fine..

I would do the deal, you can afford to part with a reciever. I think Barber not only gets tds but he will get an increase in yards throughout the season as well. Branch isnt a huge downgrade from Evans and vice versa. I would make the deal for sure. Good luck. cardinalempire 0 Posted September 22, 2007 How many do you have to start? What will HIS team look like after the trade? I like the upgrade to Barber, but think you are overpaying if you give up Branch. Counter for a little bit better WR and I like it. exeleratre 0 Posted September 22, 2007 I would rather stand pat... liking branch and evens in addition to KJ in the future.... however maybe I'm biased having both WR chillin on my bench
exeleratre 0 Posted September 22, 2007 also... i enjoy having equals and playin matchups.... like you do currently with your TE situation. If he is really after one of you TE's lowball Cooley or Witten for somebody other than barber that you can use or have a gut feeling about.
steppdaddy 0 Posted September 22, 2007 I would jump on it. Barber is an upgrade and so is getting rid of Evans. Evans is worthless until the Bills learn a pro style offense. I don't like giving up Witten and it kills your w.r depth. However, if you can hit the waiver for another w.r. do it. I would also try for olsen if you can get a w.r. from waivers. Screw the kickers, you can play the waiver game all year with that one. Thanks for the post.
hogs22 0 Posted September 22, 2007 I would do it! MBIII would be a great addition to your roster, Cooley is better than Witten IMO anyway, and you have depth at WR that would allow using Evans in trade, and there is surely some other WR that you could pick up off the WW in a pinch. Thanks for help with mine
