0-2, Need a win BAD...MJD, DEUCE, or Hines Ward @ flex? PPR

Recommended Posts

PPR League. Start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D/ST

My QB, 1 RB, TE, and K are definitely locked in...Should I start Hines Ward over Branch or Deuce? Or should I somehow get MJD into the lineup? I really need a win this week. So, I might be overanalyzing things as I have gone back and forth between starting MJD over Deuce, Deuce over MJD, Hines Ward over both, and even GB D over Oakland D. What y'all think are my best options? Im just looking for some consistent points, which is why Ive thought about Ward over either RB......since its a PPR league. Hines has outsccored both MJD and Deuce the first two weeks. Westbrook/Vince/Colston/Watson have been my most reliable thus far. Just need to figure out one of my flex spots and my D/ST. MJD, DEUCE or Ward @ flex? GB vs. SD or OAK vs. CLE for D/ST?

Will answer yours immediately. Thanks.

Thanks for the help with mine

I actually like your roster the way you have it, but I would probably start H. Ward over Colston. D. Branch had great game last week and is sure to find endzone against CIN. NO offense for some reason is off to rocky start. I still like Colston and will probaly have good game this week, but Ward is go to guy in newly renovated Pitt offense that has been producing decent numbers so far this year.

I think I would start Hines Ward over Deuce. Yes I know everyone is predicting this week to be the week the Saints show up but that also means it could be the week Brees, Colston, Bush or even Eric Johnson score all the td's. I know Willie Parker will get his yds etc but I think Big Ben will hook up with Ward for a td. MJD is predicted to have a good game against the Denver rush defense but then again he may not and also is splitting time with Taylor. My gut says Ward as I think he will have a big game.

I would deff start Oak's D. Cleveland will not score like that again in the black hole. Green bay is playing good but I see Sandiego being too much.

I would start Ward over Colston and take a risk on MJD instead of McAllister. I know MJD hasn't done ANYTHING yet this year (and maybe I'm biased because he's on my roster), but DEN is shutting receivers down and letting teams run like crazy. If JAX wants to win they will have to utilize the run, plus MJD can catch. Good luck!

i think i would take out deuce and put in ward. I'd definitely keep Colston in the lineup because i think brees will have a breakout game

Ward over either of the New Orleans players makes a lot of sense to me. The Titans held Indy in check pretty well, so I'm not buying this being the Saints' break-out week either. I DO like Hines to score this week against San Fran.

Thanks for answering mine.

Pull Deuce and put in MJD. Denver has given up 156 yds EACH of the first two games AND they have a fabulous secondary. (Dre Bly and Champ Bailey). Jax has to run the ball.

Thanks for answering mine.

mjd should produce this week, ward is a safe play - but pitt is spreading it around a lot. any week could be huge for ward, or wilson or holmes could break out.

i'd go mjd.
