MUST win! Help pick my core players...

Recommended Posts

Im concerned about my core players at WR & RB

I have lots to choose from so Id like to maximize my points, who should I go with?

I was thinking 2 RB's and 2 WR's but I could also go with 3 stud WR's and my best back....

RB Selvin Young, Den RB SD Sun

RB/WR Willis McGahee, Bal RB @SF Sun

WR Reggie Wayne, Ind WR RB/WR TB Sun

WR Torry Holt, StL WR RB/WR Ari Sun

BENCH

Bench LenDale White, Ten RB/WR Atl Sun

Bench Plaxico Burress, NYG WR NYJ Sun

Bench Deion Branch, Sea WR @Pit Sun

Bench Santonio Holmes, Pit WR Sea Sun

Thanks for you help, please leave a link so I can return the favor...

First thanks for the help with mine.

I am not sure why people were suggesting Morris if Maroney doesn't play, because I do not see them in your list of players??

As for the four players I would start it would be

Wayne (must start)

Burress (must start)

Holmes (he will get majority of looks with Ward out) and played well last week.

McGahee, since he gets all the touches in BALT. If Henry is out then go with SY.

I would plan on using McGahee and Young (assuming no Henry) at RB and Wayne and Plax (assuming healthy enough to go) at WR. Holt is stuck in an offense that cannot score TD's right now. I would avoid him at the moment, and Plax is playing against the Jets and the ~27th ranked Pass D.

Thanks for mine.

The safe bet sure seems to be... Mcgahee & Young, Plax & Wayne

But something tells me Holt, Holmes, or Branch is going to blow up...

Willis for sure

Be careful about Young, he might not even start this week. Wait and see for sure.

I think Holt should be benched for S Holmes until further notice.

Maybe think about Lendale. He has been getting some Td's.

Plus, if Buress is healthy, he's almost a must start.

I guess right now, I'd go

Willis

Wayne

Burress

Holmes

I definitely start Wayne, Holmes and maybe Branch. I think the RB should be Young only because he is very explosive and capable of busting off a 30-40 yrd run. NYG i believe will be able to get up early and try and control the clock with the running game. Holt and WHite - negative
