COACHG137 0 Posted October 6, 2007 I THINK THE GIANTS SUCK MORE THAN THE SAINTS RIGHT NOW .THE SAINTS COMING OFF BYE WEEK AND COULD OF GOT THINGS RIGHT .I'D GO WITH JONES GOOD LUCK http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293749
redshirtrookie 0 Posted October 6, 2007 i say go with foster. i have him too and i'm thinkin about startin him, but i have better options so he'll prolly sit. the saints havent done anything on def or off. they dont have the personnel to do it. you can come up with an game plan you want. you cant execute if you dont have the guys to do it. the saints D wasnt great last season and the additions they made obviosuly havent helped them. i.e. jason david. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293761
VaTerp 0 Posted October 6, 2007 With the whole Henry situation Im prolly going to be starting both Foster and Jones to go along w/ Bush. Of the 2, I think Foster has the better mathcup. The Saints are DEFINITELY worse than the Giants right now and Foster seems to play well on turf. Carolina does have Carr starting at QB this week which means they HAVE to focus on running the ball but also could mean the offense doesnt move the ball as well. Jones was a major dissapointment last week but I have a gut feeling that he'll be better this week. Close call. Head says to go w/ Foster gut kinda says go w/ Jones. I'd go with Foster here. huthut 0 Posted October 6, 2007 I am starting Foster because I have my 2 main running backs (Rudi Johnson and most likely Maroney) out. He probably won't do that bad, as long as the score is somewhat close.
biglou 2 Posted October 7, 2007 I'm thinking Foster. With Delhomme out and the backup's horrible performance last week, the Panthers will try to run the ball early and often.
WindyCitySportsFan 0 Posted October 7, 2007 The Panthers have at times in the past gotten a bit of a smashmouth football reputation. It went away for a bit, but it will likely have to come back this week. The Saints D looks ridiculously bad (more against the pass than the run, but both). I'm starting Foster in the flex spot this week because I already have Gore and Parker. I've started him the last few weeks including the 20+ blowup performance. I get the impression he could be in for a respectable double digit output. I only started him because of other injuries, however. I don't think Jones will be able to match it this week.
