throttlers 0 Posted October 7, 2007 12 team redraft, standard scoring, 0.5 PPR, start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 RB/WR, 1 K, 1 DST My Roster QB - Big Ben, Warner, C-Pep RB- Bush, Benson, Jacobs, Foster, Williams, Young, Turner WR - Housh, Branch, Welker K - Gostkowski DST - Packers His Roster QB - Brees, Pennington, Schaub RB - Gore, ADP, Graham WR - Roy Williams, Holmes, V. Jackson, Jurevicius, Mark Clayton, Shockey K - Rackers DST - Bears, Cardinals He is really really down on Brees and has been trying to moe him. He asked about TJ. I said I would consider something like TJ, Benson or Foster and Warner for Roy, Gore and Brees. He said he was going to offer Gore and Brees for TJ but isn't sure about trading R. Williams. He is thinking over my offer. Should I take his offer of Gore and Brees for TJ. TJ is the 2nd highest scorer to R.Moss among all WRs and RBs in our league. With Gore struggling I don't think I get enough value without Roy and it leaves me in bad shape at WR. Is there another offer I should make?
hogs22 0 Posted October 7, 2007 I think I would sit tight the way you are. Bush won't do anything but get better, remember he didn't get in the endzone until late in the season last year, Young will likely be a stud once the pot smoking baby making Henry is out. And you would take a big hit at WR by losing Housh and not having a backup. Also, I think your QB options are good enough, sure there are better out there, but you have a solid all around team. I think you would doing yourself a disservice by going through with this trade. Thanks for the help with mine.
smashmouths@blf 33 Posted October 7, 2007 Housh for Gore & Brees? Do it, and then trade some of your RB depth for a really good #1 receiver.
COACHG137 0 Posted October 7, 2007 I would keep Housh .You are good enough shape . http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293948

throttlers 0 Posted October 7, 2007 Thanks Coach. I already answered that one.

dalie 2 Posted October 7, 2007 I wouldn't do the trade if you don't get a WR in return (either in this trade or a trade w/ someone else with your RB depth) you will only have 2 WR left. Thanks for mine
throttlers 0 Posted October 7, 2007 If he goes for my offer that includes getting Roy Williams, I will probably do it. I won't do it just for Gore and Brees. I am trying to figure out if there is another offer I could make though. Perhaps I am better as I am though. Gore may continue ot struggle all year.
Connorsdad 38 Posted October 7, 2007 Normally i would be all over this trade. Gore and Bush a nice 1-2 Punch. But your WR corp is very weak without Housh. So i would stay with your lineup as it is Thanks for answering mine and Goodluck!!
