Poloc2289 0 Posted July 27, 2008 I have a bit of a keeper dilemma. In my league we can keep 3 players and 1 rookie. The bolded players are the ones I plan on keeping... QB - Donovan McNabb, Brett Favre, David Garrard RB - Brian Westbrook, Ryan Grant, Julius Jones, Chester Taylor, Michael Bush WR - Terrell Owens, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Joey Galloway, Donald Driver, Anthony Gonzalez, James Jones, Sidney Rice TE - Antonio Gates K - Matt Bryant DEF - San Diego So as you can see, I plan on keep having two of my keepers be Westbrook and Owens and my rookie one being Anthony Gonzalez. So I need help with my third keeper. In my mind, it's between Housh and Grant but I'm open to all suggestions. I was a Westbrook kneel away from winning the league last year so I'm hungry to get back in contention. Please help out and I'll answer yours.
ZIFNAB316 0 Posted July 27, 2008 I'd go with Housh beacuse he's a proven commodity. I'd want to wait and see how Grant does without Favre.
Beef Ravioli 0 Posted July 27, 2008 I would keep Grant. In a keeper league, there will not be many RB1's left in the draft. By keeping Westy (a for sure RB1) and Grant (a border RB1) you have two solid RB's. I believe you will be able to find a WR like Housh much easier than a RB. Thanks for mine! DC 10 Posted July 27, 2008 I'g go withGrant, even though there's more uncertainty. Great upside there. Housh is not a bad choice, but the temptation of Grant is just too great. Please look at mine re: Portis v Barber as a keeper.
Mr Greenthumb 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Grant all the way. He is on his way to be a household name.
dutch boy 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Grant...worse case is that he ends up being a strong #2 all season, Housh is automatic too, but I normally lean towards a RB.
Crazy Eyes 0 Posted July 27, 2008 I'd take Grant as well to give yourself a solid RB tandem, Grant has the potential to be a top 10 back, but you could settle for him being a solid #2 since you've already got Westbrook.
lancer1991 0 Posted July 28, 2008 I'd go with TJ. He has definitely proven to be the go to guy in CIN. I think GB will be up in the air this year with a new QB and running game could suffer.
WhiteWonder 2,995 Posted July 28, 2008 Id go with grant. you already have owens at WR and depending on where you draft you might have Houh slip to you?
