tazman01 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Grant is going up against tough Minn D, Rice is unproven McGahee is the starter but hurt also have a rookie QB Perry is starter going against Balt D, I don't think they're top D, but they're still pretty decent I already have Adrian Peterson going and Kevin Smith in my flex Leave a link for yours. PanicAttack 13 Posted September 6, 2008 I know... I have some of the same RBs. I am sitting Grant because he is a Game Time Decision and the Minn D. I like Perry this week. Balt D is good but getting old and in that O Cin will open up the run with the pass. And Perry has good hands. If its PPR even better, if not he should still put up good RB2 numbers this week. McGah/Rice are riding my pine until I see what Flaco (sp?) can do. I think teams will be stacking the box until he proves he can manage the game. Just my 2 cents Luck Mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322194
MarcM85 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Grant, no brainer. He is the only one out of any of those RBs that will get 20+ carries. Baltimore is still stingy, particularly against the run. I have Perry on like every team I own, but I still dont trust him to carry a full load, esp against the Ravens. Watson is more proven. McGahee looks like he is gonna start, but Rice will likely get 40-50% of the carries. If one gets enough carries, theyre a good play against Cinci D, but I dont know if either will get enough carries to be worth a start. With Smith in your RB2, you should have a strong week, and you dont need a home run with your flex. Go Grant, steady produciton - at least 70yds, with decent chance of more and TDs http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry3707436

Thanks I think between those choices, I would go Grant for sure. Perry will split carries with Watson I feel and McGahee and Rice may also split carries. As long as Grant is out there, he is the main ball carrier and will get all the goal line carries even if he is going up against Jared Allen and the boys. He is your best bet. Good luck. Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322211
Craig 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Grant if he is definitely playing. If not, Rice.

seattle49er 0 Posted September 6, 2008 I'd go with Rice this week, Grant almost any other time. WR: Larry Fitzgerald TE: Vernon Davis W/R: Brandon Jacobs Bench: Roddy White Dwayne Bowe Ronnie Brown Rashard Mendenhall Ray Rice Jake Delhomme Def: Jacksonville K: Mason Crosby
Mmueller 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Grant no question for me. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322225
tazman01 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Thanks Seattle49er. In the future to keep the posts clean, setup a new topic and leave me a link to your post - you will get more than my response and this post will be kept clean. BTW, welcome to the boards - some of the most knowledgable football folks around. With that said, I like your team, QB's have nice depth, RB startes are solid, Brown has upside not quite sure how to forecast his year, depends on his health, Mendenhall had fumbling problems so he may not get as much of the share early on as originally thought, I like Rice especially with McGahee and his injury problems and attitude problems. WR nice to have two studs and I like Bowe a lot and White gives you more depth. TE - Davis has not shown me to be consistant enough for my liking Def is solid and well kickers are all the same to me. Good luck you should be able to contend and have a fun year talking in the office - Mondays are always more fun to talk about the games and performance in the office when you win. ramblin'wreck 0 Posted September 6, 2008 If Grant starts the game, you gotta play him. GB will need to establish a ground game in order for Rodgers to excel in the game. Now if Grant is a no-go, I would roll with Rice.. McGahee isn't 100% or may not even start.. Rice will get at least 10-15 touches. Help me here. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322112
mrgymrat 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Grant if he plays. Looks like McGahee will play also which means Perry would be your #2 choice IMO.
hadji 0 Posted September 6, 2008 If Grant is fully healthy and I'd go with him, otherwise I'd go with Perry if Grant will be limited. It's a tough choice but everything I'm hearing says Grant should get the ball 20+ times so you have to go with the RB that will get full time duty. Thanks for the help on mine.
