Mmueller 0 Posted September 6, 2008 W/R Patrick Crayton @ Cleveland *Cleveland doesn't have a great pass defense but Crayton is still the 4th option on the team. or Matt Forte @ Ind *Not sold on Forte yet but I just read that the '07 colts allowed the most fantasy points to opposing rbs. Thoughts? Post yours.
hadji 0 Posted September 6, 2008 I'd definitely go Forte. I'm a Bears fan in Chicago and although I think the Bears are going to be bad, they are also going to run the heck out of the ball and have Orton manage the game which means a lot of opportunities for Forte. Personally, when there is a close choice between a WR and RB, I'll always choose to the RB due to the guaranteed touches. Thanks for the help on mine. mrgymrat 0 Posted September 6, 2008 I'd go Forte as well. Being the #4 option in Dallas means you rarely see the ball.
itsbigmoni 1 Posted September 7, 2008 I'd go with crayton. The bears are terrible, thats not gonna change when you lose both your top wideouts and are now relying on a rookie RB. I mean if it was someone like McFadden or some can't miss RB, then MAYBE he'd do alright. But you have forte on a terrible bears offense. Crayton is the 3rd option in the passing game, not the fourth. The game will be a shootout. Check out craytons numbers last year, i don't see why he'd fall off from those, especially when the WR's behind him are hurting. The passing game consist 95% of Owens, Witten, and crayton. The 5% will go to a rookie who will get split out wide once in a while and a banged up WR (forgot which one out of stanback, hurt, or austin is playing) and a rookie WR who got bumped up from the practice squad. I'd go with crayton. If its PPR, then it wouldn't even be close.
polecatt 478 Posted September 7, 2008 I would pick Crayton. Dallas is only playing two WRs and one is Crayton. He will get plenty of passes thrown his way. He has had some really big games before against weak defenses. As for Forte, I just don't see the Bears offense as a good thing to have any part of.
jbeeler 0 Posted September 7, 2008 Ditto for Crayton.......I think the Bears will be behind early and will ditch the run. Crayton will get lots of looks against the Browns. They will try and take TO and Witten out of the game so that leaves Crayton with some nice matchups.
Fantana 0 Posted September 7, 2008 Forte. He is the only credible option on CHI, and he catches the ball well. Crayton is option #4 on a very good DAL offense, a very good option, but not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Tommy Boy 0 Posted September 7, 2008 If it's PPR, I'd go with Crayton. He's on a deadly offense that will put up points. But at best, he's the 4th option on the team behind TO, Witten, and Barber and his production will be inconsistent weak to weak. In cases as such, I prefer to play these players when they are at home. But I think Forte is a safer pick since he's most likely to get more looks and touches. This is a tough call.
