wbethea 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Man this is tough because I would jump on Delhomme in a heartbeat with Smith coming back, but JT and Cassel are in line for big games. Cassel is the safest because Miami sucks but NE may get up early and just pound the ball the rest of the game. Take a flier on JT I think this game will be a shootout. jdibella 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Great matchups with all three but I would say go with Cassell. Miami just sucks. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=324964
Criper 24 Posted September 20, 2008 JT vs. Detroit Cassel vs. Miami Delhomme vs. Minnesota Please tell me who you would start and why. I will reply to all links left behind. All good matchups, but I would ride the hot hand of JT in the Martz Bowl. Should be a high scoring affair as neither D is very good. Cassel should produce more this week, but I can easily see the Pats getting a big lead in the first half and doing the ball control thing in the 2nd half. Delhomme is the wildcard as he gets his best weapon back. Carolina wants to run first but will find that hard to do against the tough Minn run D, so they will have to throw to move the ball. However, the 2 week layoff from game action could find the Delhomme/Smith timing a little rusty. I would start Delhomme if you didn't have another option, but I think JT gives you the best chance 250+ yards and multiple td's. Good luck.

notboston 0 Posted September 20, 2008 I would go with delhomme, the MN pass D is the weak part of there team.
ScottyArms 0 Posted September 20, 2008 I'd say they are all close but I'm favored to O'sullivan since I'm starting him this week so go with him cause I expect a shootout http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=325017
mashman 0 Posted September 20, 2008 I actually had the same decision to make between Delhomme and O'Sullivan and I am rolling with O'Sullivan. While Delhomme's matchup looks solid on paper, Minnesota tends to play lower scoring grind it out type games. All of Detroit's games get out of hand in a hurry and become fantasy gold mines. Trust Martz and trust the Detroit suckiness. Go with O'Sullivan, hands down.
ziggyschiefs 0 Posted September 20, 2008 it's tempting to go with Cassel. I think JT won't have as big a game as last week (although Martz will be able to piick apart Detroit), but i'd probably go with Delhomme. He's getting Stevie back who'll want to prove something. Delhomme will be a sure decent number of points where JT could go big or small. risk/reward. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=325033
dshinaut 0 Posted September 20, 2008 I would roll with JT......you know they will throw all day against Detroit. Delhomme could also be good but I think that this is not the best week to start him, just look at the overall matchups. Detroit can't stop ANYONE for as long as I can remember. Expect 250 yds and 2 TDs from JT this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=324895
Bigunreal1 0 Posted September 20, 2008 You have to go with JT. Martz will be motivated against his former team, and his offense will almost certainly put up huge numbers against the hapless Lions defense. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=324794
