Need help on decision to keep: Devin Hester vs. Ted Ginn

Recommended Posts

Don't know which one to keep. I'm leaning towards Hester since he's got Cutler, but I think Olsen will be the #1 guy (plus #2 WR Bennett played with Cutler at Vanderbilt so they have connection already). Ginn obviously has underwhelmed but WR's usually break out there 3rd year + he's got a good balanced offense which could open opportunities for him. I believe both guys will still be doing Punt Returns (Correct me if I'm wrong)... so they seem like similar players... but who's got the upside?

League Format: 12 Teams, Keep 7 players with a max of 3 WR's & 2 RB's

My Keepers as of now are

Adrian Peterson, Clinton Portis, Antonio Gates, Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Vincent Jackson, Hester or Ginn

Scoring setting is:

10 rushing yards: 1 point

10 receiving yards: 1 point

20 return yards: 1 point

1 reception: 1 point

Any TD: 6 points

Thanks for your help!

you have a tough one here. I would go with Hester. I agree that the players are similar but Cutler is the superior QB and the Bears playing against the Vikes twice and the Packers twice mean playing from behind so they will have to air it out. Playing against the Lions twice means easy pickins.

i'd go with hester this year, though i think ginn has the slight, very slight, advantage in the long-term as a receiver.

cutler far offsets this.

go hester.
