Addai vs Jac

Slaton vs NYJ

 

Am leaning towards Rice against a KC Def that was at the bottom for rush defense last year. Addai has averaged only around 55yds in 5 games with Jacksonville. Slaton is going against a decent NYJ rush defense.

 

This a good choice?

Rice has a juicy match up, but I don't know if I could sit Slaton for him. Slaton is one of those guys that should be in the lineup unless he is hurt every week.

The only reasons I am even thinking about sitting Slaton is this. He is going against a team who last year was one of the top rush def teams. Secondly, it has been said, to give Slaton a break, Brown will probably be doing short yardage a goal line rushing.

SLaton... You spend a 1st or 2nd round choice on him for a reason... Start your stud week 1

If it weren't week 1, I would say to start Rice,

but as the others said, you drafted Slaton in Round 1 for a reason.

Start him until he gives you a reason not to.

Go with Slaton. He's your #1 pick, so why sit him. He is on the edge of having a monster year!

Ray Rice could have a monster year. However at this point he still needs to prove himself worthy of starting over someone like Slaton.

Slaton should be started every week unless proven otherwise. Wait for Rice to prove he should be started over Slaton before you look at matchups.

Thanks for the replies guys. Got lucky with Slaton. Picked him round 8 last year in a keeper league, so only had to give up 8th pick this year.

 

Still deciding...dang...this is a nice problem to have I guess.

I'd have to go with Slaton. He's proven and Rice still has some guys to split with even though he's the guy now.
