Pick up Fred Davis?

Recommended Posts

I want to pick up Fred Davis. He was targeted ten times on monday night and Tony Gonzalez has been inconsistent so I'd like to take a flyer on him. I know, I know he plays in that horrid washington offense but still. He put up stats on monday. Who should I drop for him? or should I just stand put?

If you want him, drop Floyd or Garcon. Garcon hasn't done much in the past few weeks with Collie's impressive emergence, and he'll likely be the one to lose snaps at the starting WR position when Gonzalez returns. Floyd is on the upswing but is still at least target #3, maybe #4 in the San Diego offense.

now hold it....I understand Tony has had some so so games. 2 from what I can see last week and week 5 and week 3. Nobody from Atl did much against NE on the road. Consider Roddy missed most of training camp and he started getting into things in week 5. The problem last week for ATL was protection....not Tony imo. I say start Tony but get Davis as a backup if you need him then you will have him. If I was playing the Skins this week I would know its pass when Davis is in the game and I would take him away from whomever is the QB in Wash.

Like I said take him as a backup and drop floyd or garcon ...probably Floyd.

up and coming or not you still start TG every week no matter what. i agree garcon and floyd could/should be on the waiver wire. if you want to take a flier on him as a backup or as potential trade bait thats fine but dont make the mistake of playing him over TG.

thanks for answering mine.
