Should I bench MJD?

Recommended Posts

Ok, PPR league. We start 2rbs, 2wrs, and 2 FLEX. My team is loaded with RB's (and yes I have tried to trade some, but no one ever trades in this league).

RB1:Mendenhall

RB2:MJD

Flex1: Bradshaw

Flex2:J.Charles

Bench: Hillis, Torain

I want to, but not sure I can bench MJD for Hillis. I am a Browns homer, and see him play every week. He has absolutely no competition for carries, and with a rookie qb he will rack up the short catches. I think Hillis has outscored MJD every week, and he hasn't got less than 14 points in a game this year. My gut tells me Hillis, but I also have been preached never bench your studs. Lil help.

I understand your dilema...I have the same issue with my IDP league and Jared Allen..I play him every week and he has sucked this year. I just looked @ Hillis's numbers and I'm gonna advise you to go gut...go Hillis vs. the so-so NOS D. Good luck and thx for answering mine!

your problem is you have too many good options. Id trade someone thats for sure

Dont think you can bench MJD but if you did your right have to play Hillis. I say start MJD and then flip one or 2 of those 6 pretty dam good backs.

help me out thanks

I'd proabably go with Hillis. The Saints run D isn't that great and Cleveland will want to control the clock by running the ball. Jacksonville doesn't have Gerrard and I think they play KC who has a pretty good run D. They'll stack the box on MJD and force Boller or whoever the QB is to beat them.

Check out mine.
