Ingram and Fitzpatrick for Tolbert and McCoy?

Standard scoring league. Not PPR. Start QB, WR, WR, WR, RB,RB, TE, K, D

 

I've been offered Mike Tolbert and Colt McCoy for Mark Ingram and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Its tempting as an upgrade to my RB2. Would leave me thin at backup QB but theres no scenario where I'd bench rivers anyway.

 

What should I do??? I'll help with yours.

A week ago I would have said yes... after this past week I'm not so sure.. Ryan M actually looked pretty good & Tolbert not so much.

 

I think Ingram starts to come around.. Especially on the Goal line. It's probably still a slight upgrade...albeit very minimal

So you would be starting Rivers, Mccoy, Peterson, Tolbert ( who will still get the goal line work regardless of Matthews) Nicks, Bryant? Do this IMMEDIATELY. As if getting Mccoy wasn't great already, if Vick misses anytime he will be even better.

Clarification, I'm offered colt McCoy, not lesean. If it was lesean this wouldn't be question!

I'd say trade, back up qb is really a non issue and I feel like Tolbert is a slight upgrade

I would do it. You will not ever use Fitzpatrick, except when SD has a bye. I think Tolbert will be a good replacement to Ingram. There are just too many options in New Orleans. Ingram will shine in the future, no doubt.. but now it's hard to picture that.

 

I would then drop McCoy for other QBs like Hasselbeck, or even Grossman though.
