Bills04 56 Posted October 27, 2011 I've got J. Battle at home on MNF against a pretty tough SD run DEF (7th), or P. Hillis on the road vs. the toughest run DEF in SF (1st)... I've got Battle going in my FLEX spot, because I'm worried about Hillis' hammy - AND his looming time-share with Hardesty. I heard that Battle didn't start last week - T. Jones did. But, Battle had the most carries, and by far the best average yards per carry of the three RBs. At QB, I've got Romo on SNF playing at Philly, or Tebow at home vs. DET. I lost last week because I played Romo over Tebow... I'm going with Romo, because Tebow basically did nothing for the first 52:26 of the game vs. MIA last week. Don't know if he can catch lightning in a bottle again - least of all against DET who lost the week before to ATL. Thoughts? Leave your link, I reply! polecatt 478 Posted October 27, 2011 I would play Hillis over Battle. The KC backfield is way too crowded at the moment. Hillis is supposedly starting this week so his numbers should be okay. It's a bit of a risk both ways but I'd play Hillis.
team awesome 4 Posted October 27, 2011 Go for hillis. He's fresher. mccoy hasnt shown much in the way of productivity this year, hillis is gonna be leaned on alot. see mine : http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=393905
JohnD. 22 Posted October 27, 2011 Hillis was held out of practice Thursday after his hammy flared from Wednesdays practice. I would probably play Romo over Tebow as well.
Bills04 56 Posted October 28, 2011 Okay - looks like Hillis won't even play this week; he missed practice Thurs & Fri. So - thoughts on which QB???
Belushi 9 Posted October 28, 2011 Weird, I have both Romo and Tebow too. I'm going with Romo. I think having a running game opens up things for the passing game. Both WR's are healthy, and that game should be a shoot-out. Tebow could have a big game, but let's face it, he was pretty lucky to put up decent numbers last week. They all came in the last 5 minutes. I don't want to risk that happening again.
