Running Back Depth

Recommended Posts

I had a draft on Saturday night and am feeling I'm a little RB weak - 10 team 1/2 point PPR:

QB - Ryan, Vick

RB - Martin, Ivory, Richardson, Lacy, Vereen

WR - Megatron, Harvin, Roddy White, Steve Johnson, Vincent Jackson

TE - Jimmy Graham

K - Bullock

D - Denver

Vick is future trade bait (looks like he'll start) and without over complicating things, you can keep a player at the round the drafted him the following year - drafting Harvin in the 14th round so I can keep him next year in the 14th round.

What do you think, should I just stick it out with Ivory/Richardson/Lacy/Vereen or try to put some deal together with an RB heavy WR light team - I'm thinking about just going with what I got and hoping Richardson or Lacy pop.

Thanks and I'll answer your question if you send me you link in your post.

Nice squad....except your RB. You really need to move one of your WR not named Megatron for a 2nd RB. Other than that, the only thing that would concern me is the Von Miller suspension for the Denver D.

Thanks for mine!

I would try to trade Steve Johnson/Jackson and Richardson/Lacy for a RB like Forte, CJ2K or Lamar Miller and a WR. You'll still get great production out of Martin and Ivory (though Ivory IS a bit of a question at this point) but I'd rather have a more solid RB2 on a better team. At WR, you're sitting very well with Johnson and White and you can't get a better TE. Denver's defense will be fine.

Thanks for mine.

Not optimistic that Ivory will pan out for you as your RB2.

I read somewhere that 5 games in the row is his limit and is off to IR.

Trade him after week 3 and cut your losses.

Otherwise, the team is pretty solid.
