So, I would trade Steve Smith and Giovanni Bernard for Alfred Morris.

 

Obvioulsy, helps my RB but this is a PPR league where we start 2rbs, 3wr and a flex. Yes I have CJ and Julio but then my 3rd wr would suck.

 

Also, not sold on Alf living up to last year, especially in a PPR. But, I feel like I may be kicking myself in a few weeks if I dont make this deal...

Would you trade a 1st round pick for a 5th and 6th at best?? I would def take that trade if I was you. Gio isn't the starter yet and while smith is the #1 option in Carolina his ceiling is 1000 and 8td and thats best case for him.. Morris had 1600 yards and 13 td's last year and thats with minimal receiving numbers and reports are he has improved greatly in the pass catching area

On paper, it seems like a no brainier. Count me in as one of the many that think Bernard is going to be something special this year. Last time I had a gut feeling like this was with Foster in 2010. If RG3 comes back and plays as he did last year, Morris will be top 10 back- I'm not convinced he will.

This trade makes u stout at RB and WR. Brownmight step up as wr3, if not then hit waiver wire. I would take this trade fosho!!

I would do the trade, it's always easier to find WR's on the waiver wire for your third slot than elite RB's. Also you have some upside with Jeffrey on your roster already.

 

Yes Gio could be special but its preseason a lot of RB's have looked special in the preseason. Your trading his hype, buildup and potential for a legit first round RB.

 

Losing Smith hurts since he would be an outstanding #3WR but it helps solidify your RB corp.
