ESPN 30 for 30 Broke….worth the watch. These kids get zero education on managing their income. Having never heard about income tax, or how to open a bank account speaks volumes to how they grew up. Playing for a major University that doesn’t bother to “educate” them on managing money, speaks volumes about our education system. These kids are too often exploited by their parents, schools, friends, and agents.

I’m sure he took full advantage of having his college paid for with an athletic scholarship at SMU, and probably has a degree in a very high paying field to fall back on just like the majority of college athletes being gifted such a golden opportunity to better themselves at institutions of higher learning. Stroud does a good job distributing the ball around, so I give Diggs 4 games before he starts crying. That said, this team will put up a lot of points and that makes Stroud and Mixon the ones you want for fantasy. Totally agree with weepaws here.

I don’t know why yall are complaining about this. If you haven’t figured it out yet, the NFL doesn’t care about the fans anymore. You couldn’t turn on a game last year w/o seeing their new pet rat. Not only are they trying to market to new countries, they’re trying to market to people in this market that don’t care a thing about the game. The NFL hit the jackpot with the explosion in popularity of fantasy after Al Gore invented to internet. If you don’t like it, find a new hobby. Otherwise, shhhhh!

It’s a long and painful way to go for regular folks that can’t afford high end pain meds…which I’m sure he had access to. Having your throat slashed so deep that it almost takes your head off, and left to bleed out probably might be worse.

I could see McCarthy having the best NFL career out of this class. Elite talent coming out of HS as an IMG Academy product. Got better as his collegiate career progressed. Wasn’t asked to carry Michigan, nor did he need to, but stepped up in big games when he had to. This kid will only get better with the right coaching. Prototypical NFL size. It all depends on where he lands.
