While I tend in recent years to vote Democratic I’m not a member of the party, or any party. I certainly don’t think Trump is Hitler. You may be confusing me with somebody else.

Also: I want you to read what you wrote here and ask yourself this question: how would you respond to it if these exact words came out of a dude who was denying the Holocaust?

In all seriousness now: we can’t. The frustrating reason, as I have pointed out many times, is that we get our news from different sources. I’m convinced that you believe several things which are simply untrue, but I can’t prove that to you because you regard my main source of proof, the mainstream media, as unreliable. Most of the things you believe that I regard as false have been reported in media sources (conservative) that I regard as unreliable. I don’t know how to resolve this. We can and should continue to discuss and debate but ultimately we will always end up at an impasse.

If demanding attention was my goal, then you would have satisfied it already. But alas it’s not my goal. I’m expressing frustration because currently there are so many falsehoods that have cachet among a sizable percentage of the public, and I was trying to set the record straight, not like a two year old but like a responsible grownup. Don’t care about the attention part, never have.

If, for instance, I write “man-made climate change is real” that’s not open to opinion. That’s either true or it isn’t. Same goes for everything I wrote. Either it’s true or it’s not.
