Are you talking independent as far as content or independent as far as self funded? Cause a lot of those people you mention have some big money and big companies behind them providing a platform and infrastructure.

Couldn't find the media thread- don't care. Joe and Mika sat down with Trump to talk with him about his second term and basically said this morning "We need to reset and cover his second Presidency in a different way." To say people are against this is an understatement. I think it's hilarious the reaction to it all. Like whatever the reason they are saying we need to be fair about this...that's the goal right?

Fun Fact- in 2022 McCormick lost the Republican nomination to Dr. Oz and there was a lot of talk of these exact type of ballots. Republicans complained they were illegal but McCormick argued that they should be counted because you should "Let people vote and not play gotcha games with them." And now in 2024- McCormick argues "No you can't count them."

Neil Gorsuch being selected in 2017 featured flouting around the filibuster rules. It wasn't a permanent end but it was a "let's end it for now to get what we want." But either way- my comment is not specifically about the filibuster. It's about hypocrisy in political parties in all circles- if they want something it is great, when the other party wants it, it is terrible.

It's an example of hypocrisy that infects both political sides of the aisle.

Skittles aren't banned. They are not allowed to make them with titanium dioxide there but you can still buy skittles. But even titanium dioxide isn't banned in food in the US- It is heavily regulated though
