Maybe you should learn to revere the Constitution twice as much as you revere a statue presented to us by the French -
Whoopi Goldberg claims bakery refused her service over leftist views: 'They did not like my politics'

My favorite part is the woman sitting next to Whoopie who is stuffing her maw but then spits it out when she hears Whoopie allege the backery would not serve her. It occurs just 7 seconds into the video. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/what-is-a-charlotte-russe-cake/ar-AA1ucD5j?ocid=BingNewsSerp I imagine she has practice as a spitter. -
President Elect Trump. He has no current power to do anything unless you think an obese senior citizen should be standing guard as a vigilante on the border. Maybe he could be there wielding a seven iron, but frankly i do not see that steming the tide.

Did Trump demonize immigrants and refugees or the persons and parties who placed no limits on them and overwhelmed our systems? Did he demonize transgerndered folks or those who sought to place them in prominence before our impressionable youth? Perhaps it has to do with the connection of the demonized state to supporting realities. If there were some believable basis for the demonization perhaps it held and if not, then not. Perhaps it has to do with the frequency with which it occurs, sort of a boy who cried wolf scenario. Did the democrats go there once too often? What I have observed is those attempting to gain and grasp power, even when they believe they are doing so for altruistic reasons inevitably fail of their altruism and seduced by the power are corrupted by it. That they will be corrupted by it is presaged by the methods they use to obtain that power. Both sides demonizing the other is a warning to me that whichever side obtains power thereby is not to be trusted. I trust the new boss no more than the old one. Still, we soldier on avoiding the depths to which we might fall while never attaining the heights we might reach.

Trump picks Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be his Department of Health and Human Services secretary

Getting pesticides out of our food would also clean our air, water, and land. -

Some pesticides and many preservatives arose during antiquated shipping and store stocking paradigms. With new automation and computer routing as exemplified by Amazon and others it seems to me we don't need unrealistic shelf life on products. Store inventories can be trimmed and more frequent, but smaller shipping can keep food fresh. Certainly it is time to assess the pradigms of a business model badly in need of updating. Truth in labeling is also needed. Would most folks let their kids eat Poptarts if their label clearly stated the product is loaded with chemicals and additives contributing to sterility, obesity, heart desease, high blood pressure and the ghey. -
Trump is at barely 50% Harris is, of course, lower. The current lead seem to be hovering around 2.8 million votes. The O.P. can take what solace he can in the numbers.

As a poor college student many years ago I would go to the Grocery once a month and buy a ten pound bag of rice and a ten pound bag of red beans along with a three pound bag of whole wheat flour. I would pick up some carrots, onions and potatoes unless it was farmers market season where I would get those at the farmers market by the bushel. Also apples, brocolli, tomatos, asperagus and corn, sometimes zucchini. I would buy a rasher of bacon and if I was feeling flush with money some chicken. I had plenty to eat. My cost was extremely minimal. Eating did take the effort of food preparation. I could not tear open a bag or a box and I did not have or need a mirowave. The poor can eat nutritiously and cheaply. Like the rest of us they choose not to do so for convenience. Food prep sucks for those who are not foodies. (Oh, I did cheat in that I worked at a restaurant and so got five employee meals a week.) (Also back in the day the government had price supports for dairy and so had warehouses full of cheese and peanut butter and you could get them for the asking. It sucked as far as quality, but it worked.) -

I don't think it is Trump's America until the baton is passed at the inauguration, but who knows, transition times are open to interpretation I suppose. -

Maybe begin funding such research by funding only hard science degrees through government grants. If folks want a B.A. in comic book arts they pay for it themselves. Take the savings from not having stoners languishing in college and then whining about their loans and invest that money in pure resdearch by those students that advanced in the hard sciences. -

Americans are not willing to eat Grape Nuts, or unsweetened Shredded Wheat or Corn Flakes for breakfast. They certainly will not stand still for unsweetened yogurt lacking chemical coloration and flavoring. -

Maybe we can still allow Froot Loops and other such items. Just don't allow them to be sold in a food store. Put them on the shelfs in Toxic Chemical stores. -

The last time I did this I bought a box of three Kidde brand smoke detectors from the Home Depot for $79. Took me aboput 15 minutes per detector to replace the dated ones. Of course that was pre-inflation of the past four years. Also, in fairness, the Capitol has higher ceilings than does my house. -

Curious aboput the 1 million dollars of property damage. I saw a few doors and windows broken. I did not see much else. 1 Million seems like a lot for what I saw. What damage did I not see or am I not taking into account? I looked around and see much highere estimates of the damage. 30 to 40 million, mostly for restoration of historical statues and paintings which had resideue form chemical sprays used by police and from fire extinguishers discharged by the rioters. One such article is from NPR. I know some don't like that source, but there are other articles out there. When making an analogy it is wise to analogize to experiences common with others, not those unique to yourself. Others cannot relate to this experience -

I appreciate not releasing the report if that has been the custom and opractice. That said, if it is only custom and practice and not the law I note that customs and practices do evolve over time. I am suspicious when the truth is hidden behind custom and practice. As Gaetz maintains his innocence (not his innocence until proben guilty status or his status) I would like to see him ask for the relese of the report for full disclosure and transparency and for him to refute any inaccuracies. I do apreciate also that partisan investigations may not have found the truth, only facts in support of their truth while the objective truth, if such is possible to discern, may be ignored as they seek support of a partisan end. BTW, when I look at Gaetz I see a smarmy, smug, adolescent abuser. I see a hebephiliac, not a pedophiliac. -
