He also gets any uncomfortable headlines about child trafficing by a repub to go away. Then, if he is confirmed, fine by Trump, he has a rabid attack dog on his team looking to make a name for himself, and if he doesn't get confirmed, well good riddance to bad rubbish. (BTW the foregoing is all wild imaginings as the thought of Trump playing any kind of chess seems unlikely. He is more of a Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, or Hi Ho Cherry-O kind of guy.)

Does anybody have a link to the sum and substance of the allegation(s) against Gaetz involving minors? I see some innuendo and supposition, but no real clear summary of the allegation.

Gaetz seems more unqualified for a top legal position than is Kamala. Now THE AG rarely goes to court , writes briefs, or conducts any legal work. They are an administrator and frankly partisan politicians. That said he needs to be able to digest the legal concepts his staff presents to make sound decisions. He is ill-equiped to do so. All he can do is make political decisions. Also I believe the smarmy bass turd is guilty as hell of mosdt of the allegaations against him, and lots of other, uncharged matteres, besides.
