Been sunny and 60 for two days now and the snow is going down. Still a lot on rooftops and side streets. Just saw a sight. A neighbor is having their roof replaced. Tthe roofers are up there on a 30 degree roof covered with ice and up to two feet of snow. They are shoveling it off so they can get to work. Three stories up on a 30 degree incline, with no safety ropes, shoveling off the roof. I stopped to watch for a while to see if they fall. Thus far they have not but it seems rather dangerous. They are speaking spanish. I am not sure I would allow that work on my home. Seems likely there could be a serious injury. It can wait a day or two. I doubt my homeowner's policy would be happy with this. Hopefully they have coverage through work, but I sort of doubt it. One hell of a work ethic though.
