I’m reserving judgment to see what he actually does. Based on his first term and who he is as a person I expect chaos and vitriol but I hope I’m proven wrong. Hopefully he goes way lighter on the tariffs then threatened hopefully it works. Hopefully he doesn’t give away fock tons of tax cuts to billionaires who certainly don’t need even more tax cuts. Hopefully we have a real election in four years and Vance or whomever gives way if they lose. I never “fought tooth and nail” over “the T stuff”. Frankly I think it’s harmful to our kids. If a person is actually trans there should be empathy and acceptance but this thing where every high schooler is confused about their basic identity is not good

But the economy is actually doing great. The issue was inflation in the past. I guess the only thing that could’ve been done about that Biden could have dialed back stimulus, but ironically, the economy would’ve been much worse off for it. Perhaps it was just an unwinnable hand with the COVID recession threatening a Great Depression, and the only thing you could do to avoid that was piss everyone off with inflation. I do agree re lgbtq. I would actually jettison them altogether. I’m tired of democrats being looked at to protect everyone from republicans. Focking do it yourselves

Disagree on Walz, he seems like a lightweight to me. Kamala turned out to be better than I expected. Certainly some room for criticism but I don’t think you can blame the candidate for this one. But I do agree with dropping the cultural stuff. Woke hurts democrats. Frankly I’m ready to cut lgbtq lose, we lose too much by being their champion.
