I sometimes listen to the Dave Rubin podcast, he's a conservative, also gay (married to a guy, recently adopted kids). He recently said basically the above. He doesn't understand how gender identity got mixed in with sexual preference. He's also concerned that a lot of gay children are being convinced that they are a different gender. He's probably right.

I heard an interview with Trudeau which discussed immigration. That interview gave me the epiphany of why the Left in the US wants all of these immigrants -- the Left discourages families, particularly large ones (I presume going back to Marxist ideologies), but they are on the hook for all of the entitlements like Medicare and SS (I know, SS isn't supposed to be an entitlement, but they've spent all of the money). So basically, they need working bodies in the future to support these things. It's a big house of cards that will eventually implode, but no politician (including Trump) will take it on, because it is political suicide. Canada is worse off than we are; something of a glimpse of our future, should we continue our path. That being said, Canada is selective in their immigrants. Whereas in the US you can get in based on family relationships due to the 1965 Immigration Act, in Canada, you actually have to show value. You are a doctor? Come on in! You are a Haitian migrant? Get in line over there, eh?

Well, their owner wouldn't let them endorse Kamala, so this is all they have.

I've driven enough in the LA area to confidently say that the drivers there are consistently selfish and inconsiderate. If you try to merge onto a freeway, it's a stone cold lock that some car will drive parallel to you, trying to block your merger. As if your attempt to get on the freeway is some personal affront to them. If I had a nickel for every time I've thought "Cali liberal democrats pretend to care about people, but they hate everyone around them!", I'd have a lot of nickels.

This might be the true October surprise. Harris probably feels she has no choice but to support Israel, since looking weak helps Trump. I'd say Biden, but our POTUS has been out of actual decisions for a long time. Protect democracy!

Interesting study, reported on by CNN of all places, that shows that 10-11 yr old kids in Democrat households are significantly less willing to go to houses of kids from Republican households than the opposite. I'm sure I've parts of this story before but... I and some other guys played on our team through freshman year, but that coach was such a doosh that many of us quit. Fast forward a few years, and we were shooting around in the gym after school when the girls HS team showed up for practice. The coach, presumably not knowing our background, asked if we wanted to scrimmage his team. They were one of the top teams in their league. OK, if you want... we destroyed them. Blocked shots or rebounds turned into fast break layups almost every time. One of the stars of the team later challenged me to one on one. OK, if you want... I just backed her down every time and scored layups. I'm not a hooge dood (6', 155 at the time) but she was like 5'4" and 105, she had no chance against a guy who knew what he was doing. We ended up dating after that, tho.

I'm late to this thread so I apologize, but I think a reset might be in order: The same hack faux journalist from the Atlantic, owned by Jobs' widow, who did the uncorroborated "suckers and losers" thing 4 years ago... has another anonymous/uncorroborated statement about Trump this October surprise-time, yet the victims family say it didn't happen and Trump has been supportive, and everyone around him says it didn't happen. But the Left says it probably happened because... "suckers and losers" thing. Pretty close?

It doesn't appear that Rudy HAD $150M. I mean, that's a lot of money, not even Saint Barack has amassed that much, I believe. As such, the penalty seems unduly punitive, don't you think?
