Gaetz withdraws: Pam Bondi is selected.
jerryskids replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Take this for what it's worth, and there are certainly several similar people on "my side" -- you are very much a "last word guy." When I see threads extended by one or more pages by two people trying to get the last word in, I don't find that riveting discussion, and just start fapping my scroll wheel. JMO. If that was your point, and not a weirdo-off, then we can leave it at that. Or you can even have the last word! -

I was commenting on the exchange where you called Trump's picks a "collection of weirdos", then ESAC posted a pic of appointees by Biden which looks like the cast from Portlandia, and you called him a total dipshit. We've established back in the Walz/Vance discussion that you fundamentally don't understand what us normies consider "weirdo", so maybe it's just that? -

I read that and the WSJ one linked in it. I could see Musk amplifying his own (and also having himself be the first recommended follow), but the rest of the stuff seems speculatory, not to mention that much was made about Trump and Vance doing a better job on social media. The WSJ experiment points out the following: So, there were more Republican accounts, but Kamala's campaign was #1. Also, 14 is an odd number, why use that? I might speculate that 5 of the next 6 were left-leaning, and didn't help the author make his point. The point I took from it though, is that political posts/accounts from both sides were amplified even if the experimental user indicated no political interest. -

X is right wing media? Congrats, the sun has barely risen here, and you've already made the dumbest post of the day. Pro tip: Leftists like you hate X because it is open, and you can't control the message. -

From a link within your link. I had to use archive.is to read it, so it wouldn't provide the link to post here: We're arguing the same thing, only you don't acknowledge the sequence of events that Tim and I have laid out. There was an accepted plan, then Topol recognized the "choke point" of Pfizer and pushed to change the previously accepted criteria. We're getting nowhere, you believe the Washington Post milquetoast report from their "Democracy Dies in Trumpness" perspective. Have a good night. -

I said MSDNC, which is a combo of MSM and DNC. It's a way of saying that the MSM is in the pocket of the Democrat party. Which they are. So my point is that somehow, CNBC and all of the MSDNC outlets in that link haven't yet pointed this out. I'm just waiting for that, is all. -
I mean, he should. He hasn't been running the country for months, probably years. We have no idea who is running the country, but I'm fairly confident it isn't Kamala. Anyway, it won't happen. Whatever cabal is in charge will continue to do so until 1/20, and Biden will be allowed to retire to Delaware to peacefully watch his dogs attack SS agents. Honestly, it's probably better to have the cabal in charge than Kamala.

I already told you that a Google search seemed to corroborate your post, and I'd be looking for reports from the MSDNC to this effect, because if true, they would absolutely jump all over this. As of now, I don't see that. Nobody seems to be talking about it. https://www.google.com/search?q=howard+lutnick+auto+tariffs+fact+check&sca_esv=c64f92f75d6f9f24&sxsrf=ADLYWIL-of33HY80JtEJDPFWinwPK7367g%3A1732148067982&ei=Y3s-Z-jTO9XAkPIPqPajqQs&ved=0ahUKEwiokamykuyJAxVVIEQIHSj7KLUQ4dUDCA8&uact=5&oq=howard+lutnick+auto+tariffs+fact+check&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiJmhvd2FyZCBsdXRuaWNrIGF1dG8gdGFyaWZmcyBmYWN0IGNoZWNrMgUQIRigATIFECEYoAEyBRAhGKABSNFpUMkKWMtecAN4AJABAJgB_gGgAeEWqgEGMy4yMS4xuAEDyAEA-AEBmAIZoAKqFMICCxAAGIAEGLADGKIEwgIHECMYsAIYJ8ICCBAAGIAEGKIEwgIIEAAYogQYiQXCAgoQIRigARjDBBgKmAMAiAYBkAYCkgcGNi4xOC4xoAfoZQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp -

Nice headline reading of USAToday... if you read the article, you'd see that nothing conflicts with what Tim and I have been saying. Specifically: So... it is true that Pfizer had scheduled a release at 32 events, then "numerous members" of the scientific community (Topol) -- and the FDA, with Topol's urging -- decided at the last minute that that wasn't enough. And shockingly, the CEO of Pfizer decided it wasn't in his or his company's best interest to go against the FDA. Did I say shocking? I'm shocked! Cmon man... -

Exactly. It was agreed to be 32 events, but Topol pushed at the last minute to get it changed to 96, which as pointed out in your video, was scientifically unnecessary. And it was only done because Pfizer was going to hit the original target prior to the election (they did). But hey, it's all about more data, right Gutter? Maybe they should have waited for 10X the events... maybe 100, 1000, a googolplex? More data is always better, it wasn't political! -

You seem to be intentionally ignoring the Pfizer part in this. Pfizer had long said they'd have their data in October, and they weren't a recipient of Warp Speed money. Yet Topol pushed for the delay despite no scientific rationalization, instead calling them the "choke point." Please tell me if you understand this, because your post I quoted doesn't indicate that you do. I don't want to waste my time posting this yet again, so if you just want to remain ignorant, let me know and we can move on. -
For the record, I did not say anything to rule out the possibility that some vaccines could contribute to autism, but the premise of the OP is scientifically wrong. I do believe that there is value in doing research on this subject to get to conclusive data. If RFK does that, great. If he comes in and goes scorched earth on vaccines, that would be terrible.

No, in what I quoted, Topol specifically called Pfizer the "choke point" to prevent release prior to the election. There was nothing scientific about it. Go back to Tim's article to see Topol's tweets on this as well. Also, I hadn't specifically commented on Topol's TDS, but I appreciate that @TimHauckdid. -

Here, let me restate it for you Gutter. Topol may have started with a sincere concern that Trump might pressure recipients of Warp Speed funding into early approval. But once he flanked to delaying Pfizer who had not received such funding, he lost the right to invoke "science," and instead made it a political topic. HTH -

Also as the video points out, delaying the release by a month as Delta hit possibly caused the lives of tens of thousands of people. But it's all good, the mean orange man didn't get re-elected. -

I don't know the guy personally. Perhaps he started with a sincere concern that Trump (who he clearly hated, from the article) was going to push for an unsafe approval. If so, somewhere along the line he lost his way, and it became about stopping release before the election period. Both the article and Tim's latest video address this. Topol's "concerns," as the video points out, had no scientific justification. -
I'm not commenting on Gaetz's innocence, but the look on her face as she read that was priceless!

I'm not just talking about this thread, but his overall postings since the election throughout this place, including the thread about you not eating your crow. In that thread I thought he came off weird, like he was looking for an internet fist fight to defend your honor. I mean, he knows you from here and the Sanctuary, so he should know that you are capable of defending yourself. But, I don't want to go too far down this rat hole because I was trying to keep this to serious discussions about the Trump presidency, so feel free to respond if you want, and we can wrap this up.
