New York Times admits it was lawfare

He is not a convicted felon until the verdict is accepted by the court at the sentencing hearing. If the case is dropped, he will not be and never have been a convicted felon. If you continue to call him that, you will look even dumber on this topic than you already do, which is a lofty achievement.

New York Times admits it was lawfare

No, that's clear, but you still don't get my message. Here, let me try a different way. If there were different differences, NY would have found a way to turn those into slightly different but still creative felonies, and you'd be here arguing that (different differences) are what's really important$#@!

New York Times admits it was lawfare

It's not me arguing it; I pasted the quote and everything. Do I wish that men in power didn't use that power to take advantage of women? Sure. Do I wish paying them hush money were a crime? Maybe. The reality is though that it hasn't been, until now, when an admitted partisan DA brought a case against the opposition party POTUS candidate, in a highly partisan district, with a unique combination of laws to create the appearance of a "felony." Like I said, you don't see it. Never have. Lots of other people did though, based on the election results.

New York Times admits it was lawfare

I was going to say in my previous post that I was confident that you will draw your Venn diagram, find the differences, and state that the differences are all that matter. The confidential docs case was similar. I had hoped to be wrong but, oh well. Like I said, I get it.

New York Times admits it was lawfare

I think it was meant as a thought experiment. But if you are asking if any politician in the history of ever has paid off concubines as hush money... Ima say yes. Bill Clinton with Paula Jones? The best is probably John Edwards though. Good read on it: https://www.businessinsider.com/john-edwards-last-presidential-candidate-charged-with-campaign-finance-violations-2023-3 This quote sums it up nicely: And that wasn't the highly biased, partisan scenario laid out in the op ed, including a DA who campaigned on getting Trump. Look, I get it, you've chugged the blue kool aid on this, and honestly think Trump should be punished for 34 felonies. It'll be particularly hard for folks like @Death and @squistionto no longer be able to call Trump a 34-time convicted felon, once the case is dismissed.

I loved this at the end: I feel like we tried to point this out to the Lefties here, but their TDS prevented them from seeing this counterargument.

MLB 2025 Hall of Fame Ballot...

I once heard the best definition of a HOFer -- can you tell the story of the game without him in it? If so, he's not a HOFer. Of the non-juicers on that list, Ichiro is the only one that fits that description to me. Maybe CC. But by that definition, you can't tell the story of the game without all the juicers who have been listed, who were the absolute best players of their times. It's long past time the HOF adds a steroids wing and add these guys. Young people should learn about this period, if for no other reason than to avoid making similar mistakes in the future.

MRI This Morning And Double Colonoscopy Next Friday

Interesting... my dad had ulcers later in life, and his drink of choice was milk and scotch (Cutty Sark, to be precise). I always thought that to be an odd combo, but maybe it helps.

MRI This Morning And Double Colonoscopy Next Friday

Dang... Can they see that through a scan, or do they need to stick a scope back up your poop chute?

    Matt Gaetz

Good one. I was thinking he'd make a good villain in a Batman movie. Melonhead?

    Where's BOYO?

I respectfully disagree with your post. But I understand that a Leftist pseud would come to your conclusion.

    Where's BOYO?

"Woke" was your takeaway? Way to be introspective, guy who thinks he's smarter than me.

    Where's BOYO?

You are trying too hard. Maybe take a break and watch a Hallmark movie? You clearly need some time off after your loss. Hopefully, you can survive the Trump nazi fascist victory in your upper middle class NJ suburb white progressive woke community.

I'm not doing anything. I'm telling you that I think your political affiliation is clouding your judgment. I also don't @OldMaid disagrees at this point, but I'll let her respond.

@WhiteWonderis one of the most apolitical guys here. I think you are trying to hard on this.

OK, I'll go through the Lithgow season. My wife and I have a few threads going on together, but Dexter is my personal one I use for home gym workouts and stretching. I have no qualms stopping before the end on those, and moving on to something else.

Awesome, thanks! Great idea to basically not be introspective, stay with the same losing strategy, blame the populace for being idiots, and subscribe to the definition of insanity which is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Personally, I'd rather a healthy-ish center-left party to compete with a (hopefully) center-right party, but if you want to throw the gun and give up, so be it.

Certainly, the DNC exists to win elections, and they failed. The question is: why do you think they failed? If your answer is to go back to the old Obama mistake of "we didn't communicate it well enough," then I respectfully submit that you missed the point.

I think I'm about where you are -- definitely season 2, about double digit episode so I'm guessing near the end. Rudy has recreated Dexter's blood psycho scene as a kid. I wasn't sure when I first started watching it, but generally these kinds of shows come down to the other characters for me. Dex is Dex, but I kinda like the development of his sister, Angel, Doakes, LaGuerta. I don't love the Rita character, I'll be interested if she survives.

I started streaming Dexter recently, so unfortunately, I can get a bit of a mental image of this.

Dana Perino…Yes Yes Yes Please With Sugar On Top

Agreed. I suffered through half of that video to finally see a single bikini pic (which was nice, don't get me wrong), then quit.

Good to see you are on the road to self-reflection of what the Democratic Party might have missed.

I've seen her hand after her surgery, that would be... painful!
