Shots fired near Trump as he leaves Florida club

So if I understand: Trump telling people to march on the Capitol on 1/6 was a clear sign that he wanted a violent attack. Jeffries saying "he must be stopped" is just a metaphor for defeating him in elections. Because all Lefties are pseuds like you, don't have Defcon 1 TDS, and would never react to such a post with violence. Again. Like I said, it's hard to have a serious conversation with you sometimes.

She is white. Also, they fear her?

Bless your heart. Even if Harris had done anything, ever, to earn such respect on the world stage, our current crop of tyrants are misogynistic racists. Iran would put her in a burka and gang rape her. Xi would send her to a Uigar slave camp. Putin would probably just laugh at her. Don't shoot the messenger.

Alexis de Toqueville once said that the American Republic will endure until the Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. I believe we've reached that point. As long as the Democrats are the party of redistribution and free stuff, and Kamala is the Queen of Equity, they will win the popular vote.

    The Bloody Mary Thread

I was going to suggest olives, bacon, and celery, depending on his taste and amount of effort he wants to put in.
  8. A lot of people don't like Trump. I'm shocked. It seems to be trending up a little, tho.
  9. So, not the people. An unknown cabal. I still think a few non-MAGA people might be a little salty about it. They should be, anyway. If you are voting for "not Trump," that's fine, I appreciate your honesty. It's when people like @The Real timschochettry to gaslight us that she is the most awesomest, qualifiedest, wonderfullest candidate evah$#@! that I want to kill a kitten and send it to a Haitian in Ohio.
  10. Really? Nobody but MAGA people are upset that they voted for Joe Biden, he was the nominee, then an unknown cabal of people decided that Kamala would be the nominee? Do you recall, I dunno, the day before Kamala was anointed, when she was considered so bad that you guys ran a borderline dead guy instead of her? And now we are supposed to believe she is the second coming?
  11. Sure they work. In this case, it points out that she is full of shiot with her "growing up middle class." Also you lied about her approval going "through the roof." It has almost caught up with her disapproval, tho. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/approval/kamala-harris/ You aren't a serious person.
  12. True. She was too busy working at McDonalds.

I was going to suggest that you are a Leftist parody bot, but I think our AI technology is more realistic than your posts.

    Creamation OR Burial

Raised a Catholic, I'm inclined to prefer a burial, since that was the Church's position when I was young. Also, my mom and dad were both buried. This past spring I went back to my hometown for the first time in at least a decade. I visited my best friend from growing up, my remaining cousin family there, and... the cemetery where my parents and their parents are buried. It was a remarkably cathartic experience to meditate at the gravesite. But... the Church has since changed their position and no longer opposes cremation. And my wife's dad was cremated, and we've had some great family bonding spreading his ashes in various places. Hell, I don't care, I'll be dead. Whatever my wife and kids want is fine with me.
  15. OK. So my problem with your conclusion is that I can't quite follow the timeline. It seems to me that 2+ years ago, the city manager said the above quote. Then since then, a bunch of Haitian migrants were shipped into town, and they filled jobs. What I'm missing is in your first quote, were there people who could do the jobs, but wouldn't? I'm not saying you are wrong in your conclusion. I happen to think that we've, as a nation, created a welfare mindset that is unsustainable. I've said before: welfare only works if people don't want it. That's not where we are. This is a large reason why I oppose Harris and the progressive mindset, which refuses to acknowledge this reality and instead keeps throwing money at people who could work. I think this is a much bigger issue than Haitians eating cats and geese in Ohio. But I wanted to see the specific tie before I went there.
  16. Sorry if this has been posted:
  17. I've been perhaps too distracted today to follow what you are trying to say. If so I apologize. Can you provide the quote from the Director of workforce development again, or point to it?

Who says no one gets hit in the NFL??

I watched about 1/2 of them. Good stuff. Except that Jackson punk from Denver; someone needs to take him out. He reminds me of Burfict from ASU, cheap shot artist.

    Senator John Blutarsky?
  20. Well, no. Perhaps the companies prefer to hire Haitians because they can exploit them more? This is why I asked for links, not your opinionated conclusion.
  21. That's a lot of links, but I don't see anything about jobs the local people wouldn't do. Also, your links, particularly the first, outline both the bad and the good of having so many new people there. Costs like Medicaid, translation services, rising rents (which you acknowledged above).
