🌈🏳️🌈🌈The Squissy Transvestite Debate Thread 🌈🏳️🌈🌈
TimHauck replied to HellToupee's topic in The Geek Club
This is the first I’ve seen this but if the lawyers are smart my guess is the lawsuit would target people that called her trans, not necessarily the ones that called her a man. -
If you want to watch exciting wrestling, watch the 2 bronze medal matches at 65kg from this morning (and yes I think it’s stupid that they award 2 bronze medals). One was won by NJ native and Northwestern and Rutgers grad but competing for Puerto Rico, Sebastian Rivera: https://youtu.be/3j91dLAsZd0?si=xJNE8CXRSZy76hzA

Leg lace. Freestyle has different rules than folkstyle which is what is wrestled in the NCAA, in freestyle you get points just for back exposure but in folkstyle you have to hold them there for 2+ seconds so you wouldn’t see this move in high school/college wrestling. Unfortunately our men’s freestyle team did not quite perform up to the expectations many had for them, especially with several of the top Russians not in attendance (although there were plenty of Russians in the brackets that transferred to other countries), so the main argument on the wrestling forum I frequent is whether the US should switch to freestyle for high school and college. Japan kinda dominated which was unexpected outside of the women’s. 8 gold medals out of 18 weight classes across the 3 styles.

Nope, all I said about masks was they may have made like a 10% difference.
-
No surprise the guy still testing himself for Covid in 2024 is still talking about masks
-
Don’t disagree, although isn’t Ledecky in the 1500 comparable in terms of dominance of her event?

You’re a sick fock

lol isn’t that the guy that thinks there were 3 shooters or something?

Here is the video that comes from. This line occurs a little after 18:22 on the bodycam clock. You can hear the shots being fired at 18:11:30. Here is another bodycam video that I believe was newly released. Based on what’s being said over the radio it sounds like the clock sync ups with the other video (for example around 18:13:20 in both videos it says “a lady’s been shot”), but just before 18:11 on the bodycam clock this is the officer that climbs up the roof and sees Crooks.

For wrestling there was when odds were first dropped but then many changed massively. Spencer Lee went from like +400 to win to now like -300 (partially but not primarily helped by the returning world champ dropping out)

Spencer Lee to the finals! Unfortunately Aaron Brooks lost with seconds to go and Helen Maroulis suffered a defeat as well. Interestingly Spencer’s mom is French and he has a grandmother that lives there who this will be the first time able to see him wrestle. GC posters might more appreciate the can size of his sister though: https://intermatwrestle.com/uploads/monthly_2024_08/image.png.1151c2629ddf4eeba42c1fed1cc23738.png And speaking of women and wrestling, a cool stat:

Yes, but depends how you define “associated.” I’d argue that civilians that are being used as human shields by Hamas shouldn’t really considered “associated” with Hamas. -

Sure, this argument has already occurred in this forum and just goes in circles, it’s no surprise that GC righties, who were already equating supporting civilians in Gaza as supporting Hamas, to now equating it to apparently supporting all of Islam and all terrorism that is done in the name of it -
Been through a ton of injuries, I’m probably rooting for him the most out of anyone

Here is the link to where that quote is from, which includes correspondence between NGO-Monitor and ANERA (probably also worth noting that it’s from 2005): https://www.ngo-monitor.org/reports/_american_near_east_refugee_aid_anera_aid_activity_tarnished_by_political_agenda_/ This quote is particularly of note IMO: “We know as well as anyone that to realize the goals of our mission in a fundamental way, peace between Israel and the Palestinians must be realized. We think our projects help create the environment for this desired peace. And in this context, we implement projects not only with the Palestinians, but also we emphasize Israeli-Arab projects” Do they have some bias, probably (likely as does the guy who wrote the initial report, I’m sure @Cdub100 noticed his name), but that’s a far cry from supporting Hamas, especially after 10/7/23. -

Never heard of them, but their website repeatedly says they are not affiliated with any religion or political party, so not sure why you think they are supporting Hamas.
