What has Taylor Swift said about Muslims? I’m no Taylor Swift expert but doing a quick search I see that people are apparently mad at her for not speaking up about Gaza. And of course similar to how Gaza does not equate to Hamas, it also doesn’t equate to all Muslims. -

Nailed it. -
This was also kinda crazy because the woman that was supposed to be her opponent didn’t make weight (even after reportedly cutting her hair and drawing blood), and apparently the rule was that she didn’t get a medal at all because of that which doesn’t really seem fair. Apparently Sarah thought she was going to win by forfeit but they ended up bumping up the woman that lost in the semis

If by “sport” you mean Greco-Roman, I can’t really disagree. There were a few decent matches, but way too many that ended 1-1 or with very little action. Freestyle is way better though, plus the US is also way better at it. Amit and Sarah were super impressive. And tomorrow the men’s starts off with a bang with many Americans in action (several representing other countries): Brooks (4x NCAA champ from Penn State that beat the returning Olympic Champ in the US trials, Brooks is also the guy who said Muhammed was a false prophet) Cruz (NCAA champ from Lehigh, representing Puerto Rico) Maroulis (gold medalist in Rio and bronze in Tokyo) Lee (3x NCAA champ from Iowa who’s mom broke her glasses, he is probably the most fun to watch) Roman Bravo Young (2x NCAA champ from Penn State representing Mexico) That list also doesn’t include Myles Martin (bronze medalist from Tokyo representing San Marino)

Well it appears he did scout out the area in prior days. I’m guessing he had a few areas picked out and decided which one to go for based on what the situation was that day. If he didn’t see an opening he probably doesn’t try it and waits until Joe Biden or some other famous person came to Pittsburgh so he could try again.

I’d believe there may have been someone higher up in the government that might want Trump dead. I wouldn’t believe that the officers in the field allowed anything to happen. How many psychos do you think there are trying to kill former Presidents/Presidential candidates? Maybe the Secret Service has been incompetent for awhile and there just hasn’t been someone dumb enough to try it until now. And the incompetence in this case extends beyond the federal level. All these people saying they saw a suspicious guy or whatever and all they do is radio it to someone else, no one actually approached him that I’m aware of, other than the one dude who said Crooks pointed the gun at him which I believe wasn’t until seconds before the shooting IIRC. So the alleged inside job would have to extend all the way to the state and local cops as well. Just seems like way too many people would have had to have been involved for it to be an inside job IMO.
-
Seems like several different people did see him but when relaying the message to others he went somewhere else. Sounds like a too many cooks in the kitchen situation where there were a lot of resources but not all working together.
-
If there is good evidence that Crooks acted alone would you believe it?
-
Yeah, typical GC, you will believe whatever you want to believe.
-
Is there a credible report saying the sniper was ordered not to shoot? Pretty sure that was from 4chan where the person basically admitted they made it up.
-
Agree. Obviously they need to continue investigating it and find out Crooks true motive (so far, looking like “standard issue school shooter looking for notoriety” seems most likely). But implying that because he went to Washington DC once, that’s evidence it could be an inside job is pretty laughable.

Even conservative “influencers” aren’t buying this.

So not to an FBI office. To the Capital One Arena.

I believe the session with Amit’s final starts at 12:15 Eastern, but she may not be for a bit after that, reading about 2:50 I didn’t know too much about her backstory, dang there’s a bit of everything. https://www.timesofisrael.com/facing-family-tragedy-online-antisemitism-us-wrestler-amit-elor-vies-for-gold-in-paris/?fbclid=IwY2xjawEeVDdleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHTW6ZNtozsxqau8ZBq0-gudvJAU2hasNP4SIAiazM2UczFIFSUIw05Xh8Q_aem_9oGBJwKbBlbBdFFo3h29wQ Grandparents survived the Holocaust Parents moved to US from Israel Dad died possibly of covid One brother was a suspected marijuana dealer shot to death in a robbery attempt. Today we also have 2 Greco guys both of whom already lost their first match and Sarah Hildebrandt, a bronze medalist from Tokyo. The overwhelming favorite in her weight from Japan who was 82-0 internationally, just lost her first match to India. IMO it’s between Hildebrandt and Helen Maroulis (2016 gold medalist going for her third Olympic medal) as the easiest on the eyes.

Possible it wasn’t intentional, but at around 6 seconds she forces the elbow against the joint. Kinda like this:

Lol wtf? I’m sure @Strike still thinks this is a respected organization though. Based on this news conference it seems to have made their case worse IMO, for 2 main reasons: 1. Saying the 2022 tests were inconclusive, after their prior official statement said that was taken into consideration for why the boxers were disqualified in 2023. 2. Saying the boxers had high testosterone, after their prior official statement said they didn’t even test them for testosterone -
The North Korean was losing 8-2 with 33 seconds left in the quarters and may have intentionally injured her opponent before making a comeback.
