joeyjoejoe 0 Posted May 19, 2003 I figured there'd be more clearcut Priest news by now and he'd be top 3 & I could snake Alexander or Portis with the 5th pick depending on how high someone was on either. Not disappointed by the Holmes pick...just gotta make sure I cover all my backup bases! If he's healthy I look like a genious...if not I will look pretty good to you guys as the cellar dweller. I was actually thinking about offering the pick up for trades to you Moz (after reading your "dilemma" post last week but "F" it....it's done.

Captain Lou 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Ahman at 1.08 if healthy can probably hang with a few taken above him. I will put my trust in getting a full 16 productive game season. More valuable than a wideout here IMO.

Captain Lou 0 Posted May 19, 2003 Originally posted by The Moz: Captain Lou -- Brave pick -- not at all worried about the Degen Knee huh ? [ 05-19-2003: Message edited by: The Moz ] Not too worried considering that Holmes may have similar problems with his hip, and he went at 1.05, Having owned Faulk for 4 years in the Tuff Sports keeper, I am fully aware that when he reaches his 14.25 healthy game average, getting a first round playoff win without him is almost impossible. Mr Tuff is my witness. So I would say that 1.05, 1.07, and my 1.08 all have similar baggage, and I wish the three of us well.
