People -

This has been one fascinating year. I got married, I moved, and I changed my job.

I have not been at all active this year, and will fully take the blame for it. I did keep a close watch on all fantasy action though - except for that DL mistake, which ironically costs me a game, and probably pushes me out of a chance for the last spot in the playoffs. I would lave been 7-6 right now.

Anyway, I wish teddyt, zap, diesel and that last spot holder the best. For the rest of us, gear up for those last spot.

Yeah, congrats and good luck with all that. I had a year like that once. It nearly killed me. I, too, apologize for my lack of fuhnershipsmanship. I took on this duty with higher expectations than have been met. I'm just much busier than anticipated.

It's a shame you let pride get in the way of a trade. frown

Thanks all for being understanding.

I think I am doing good given all this change. I have to give it to Sharks that the picks trade did not really favor me.

Still, I think if I were active enough to grab likes of Domanick Davis, Rudi Johnson, Brian Westbrook the picture would be different.

Also, the long term injuries to Moulds, Harrison, Boston and Dawkins did really hurt the team.

I expected so much more from Jason Taylor as well. I catch most of the Dolphins action and the thing is that they are double teaming him so many times that Ogunleye gets all those sacks. He also seems to have lost his touch as I can vividly count about at least 8-10 times where he was on that QB and still missed or tripped or slipped or something. Something for us to eye on for next year.

Should I be fortunate enough to make a comeback for next year, i.e. if my guys can pull through this next game and the next, and the next... I will be much more active and grab them suckers right off that board.

And of course my first rounder will be available for a 2nd and a 3rd.

You make a good point that with some FA pickups and fewer injuries, it could have worked for you.

The thing I like about the trade, now that the regular season is about over, is with two stud running backs my team was consistent. I didn't have as many huge scoring weeks as some of the teams and didn't finish first in scoring, but I put up the points every week and it showed up in the win totals.
