friar 0 Posted August 20, 2003 teddyt: ...Damn you for picking Gannon just before me!!!!!!! Now I'm 'stuck' with Price...I'm not sure if I'm happy with him yet...I'll have to let it sit with me for awhile... Perhaps that potential trade offer could have yielded nice gains mutually. Sisters of No Mercy 0 Posted August 20, 2003 Damn! Looks like there were some serious Gannon lovers comin' up after me....I love hearing groans from guys after me when I make a pick!
RLLD 4,187 Posted August 20, 2003 Jackson was next on my list, but again, it was a strained choice. I think he presents fair value at this selection(5.09). I was considering two other possible choices, but I have to trust my list at this point, and stick to it unless I find compelling reason to change it. Diesel07 0 Posted August 20, 2003 i like himadn think he should do well this year. He did finish with something like 1000+yards and 7 td's. Than he got hurt. Good pick IMO
t.j 35 Posted August 20, 2003 Whew! I thought for sure that RLLD would take Rice from me, the last WR I had rated anywhere near this spot in the draft. I even tried to trade above him with Stuart or Seeker to ensure that I got him (unnecessarily so, as it turned out).

I had Rice just below Jackson, thought about it a bit, but had to stay with the younger guy, on a team that will be passing it's arse off.... I think Jackson gets about 200yds more, and perhaps 3-4 more td's in the end. Just a guess really, but I have to live with it now, whatever the truth becomes

Diesel07 0 Posted August 20, 2003 Ray Lewis's Limo Driver: Diesel07: Foreal, hurry the FOCK up i dont got all dam fuken day god dammit! - sorry i gotta let my anger out over loosing to the skins in maden 04 in the last 4 seconds (Crumpler needs to learn to catch the ball inbounds on 4th down) You lost to the skins? What team were you? The foking Korean War amputees? eek! In my post i said Crumpler needs to catch the focking ball, so that would be ATL. No they just got lucky. fumbled the ball on kick off they returned it in for a TD. Vick fumbled it once, and they got a lucky ass 40 yard pass on the 1st play of the game. i forgot i was playing aginst the fun&gun offense.
Sisters of No Mercy 0 Posted August 20, 2003 Man...one pick while I slept. What is it over there? 4PM PST, 7PM EST? No way it gets to me at 6.9 today.... Edit...what time does the FFToday site post under? I see it says 5:45 for this post. Is it central, or east coast? If it's east cost, I need to adjust my time difference by an hour... Diesel07 0 Posted August 20, 2003 im sure it will make it back down to you. I think zap might of sent his picks to someone (if hes not around) so check the board every so often, we do need to speed this up
Sisters of No Mercy 0 Posted August 20, 2003 Zap is chillin' on a beach...doubt this is his first priority right now. And I don't blame him. Still, that's my main reasoning for thinkin' that we aren't going anywhere with this draft for the rest of the day.
