B.M.F. 0 Posted October 23, 2005 i think bill bellicheck was trying to make a point after a week of questioning jamal lewis starting role. how much longer can jamal keep the starting job with the numbers his putting up?
devildog 0 Posted October 23, 2005 He should have been benched today. Holes were there, he just wasn't quick enough to hit them after tip toeing around in the backfield for 2-3 seconds.

kloide 0 Posted October 24, 2005 It's clear Billick wa in fact trying to prove a point and he failed miserably. Chester Taylor did not get a carry untill the end of the game and that really hurt the team. When he finally got his shot he made the most of it (as he always does). It's clear something is wrong with Lewis and the longer Billick stays in denial the longer the season will be for the Ravens
Xeris 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Does anyone think Taylor will start to see a significant amount of carries, or gulp, possibly take over the starting gig? I haven't seen any Balitimore games this year, but I did pick up Taylor to fill in for waiver/injuries this week. Is he worth holding on to?

Taylor has already been compared to as a "poor mans" priest holmes So I would say it's worth a spot on the roster!
BiPolarBear 477 Posted October 24, 2005 LET THE CHESTER TAYLOR ERA BEGIN!!! Local Baltimore ESPN radio is just ripping the Ravens and saying Jamal is done. They want to see Chester Taylor cut loose. One of the host of the show (I think he is refered to as "The Bull") says he doen't care what Brian Billick has to say any more. (It's ugly)

Jlew contract has not been renegotiated (as was promised before the season started) for whatever reasons and he's bitter about it... not giving 100% every week and Taylor looks good in his limited role.. definitely worth keeping an eye on.
