shasha 0 Posted October 27, 2005 I'm starting Brunell, of course my other option is Frerotte, so it isn't the same situation. The way I look at it is, yes Brunell did light up a pretty bad 49'ers defense last week. He also didn't play in the 4th QTR and still got 3 TDs. But in the weeks previous he has had great games and they weren't all against bad defenses. Hell he is the more consistent player on my team. He is playing smart, they are looking so much more like the old Redskins, run it, run it, take a few short passes, run it and then boom, 50 yds down the field. And he has been deadly accurate all year. The o-line has been giving him pretty good time back there too. Eli is a great young QB, but he is going to be inconsistent and the skins defense is just mean, especially with Arrington in there now. He looked like a man possessed this last week.
