golden eagles 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Today and tomorrow are, in my opinion, the best sporting event days of the year. Agreed. Masters Sunday & the opening Sunday of NFL season would be close behind, imo
Guest tiki_gods Posted March 16, 2006 I would have to rank slightly ahead of the Superbowl only because they last for nearly 48 straight hours of bracket watching. I seem to live on the couch with a pile of food, remotes, highlighters, and empty beer cans and bottles strewn around my feet. Good times....good times indeed. Agreed. Masters Sunday & the opening Sunday of NFL season would be close behind, imo Opening Sunday of the NFL is good too...actually EVERY Sunday during the NFL is a good Sunday. Masters Sunday is good so long as Tiger doesn't have a ten stroke lead.
golden eagles 0 Posted March 17, 2006 The Super Bowl is what it is, but I don't think it compares to this. For the most part, the game is overhyped, the better team most always wins, & after 2 weeks of build up, it's over in 3 1/2 hours. This is 2 days of nothing but great games, most of which can be won by either team. Usually more tight games than blowouts. And this year, we should get some extra games late because of the bomb scare in San Diego
Guest tiki_gods Posted March 17, 2006 We need more bomb scares...this is bliss.
