shovelheadt 72 Posted March 23, 2006 This surpises me. Thought they'd all but given up on him due to the money. Still, this will serve nothing but to get me amped up as I think "maybe Arrington's the one NFLer that would put aside what he may get to reunite with a coach he loves"...only to come crashing down. Its been a tough off season for Lavar -- giving up $$ - not getting any interest from teams... His agent getting suspended... and realizing he won't get the money he would have if he stay'd in DC. I hope he goes far from the NFC East. -->in other words --> NOT THE GIANTS
Miller_Time_21 0 Posted March 23, 2006 I just don't see us paying him the kind of money he is wanting. I also don't know if I like the idea of him on the team to be honest. he is a freak talent wise, that's for sure. However, LB is the strength of the D, don't really need him and have holes elsewhere to fill. Also, Arrington is one of the most undisciplined players in the league on the field. I'm not sure that is a guy you want around some of the young and talented players on the Bengals D. He freelances way to much, and doesn't seem to be able to play within a scheme.
