Just got back from the Denver show at the Fillmore! ;)

That was the most rockin' show I've been to in many years, no breaks between songs, just a straight show from start to finish! Focking awsome! I would recommend anyone seeing them if they came your way. They rocked all the songs from their album and they did a couple really good covers.

Thanks for the review. I just order two tickets online from the brand new family vacation house on the Cape. When I was a little kid we didn't even have a phone or TV in the old place that got burned down. Now I'm overlooking the lake doing fantasy drafts and ordering concert tickets while listening to the NFL network on direct TV . I like technology.

 :wall:

How much are the tickets where you are? I was very surprised to only pay $25 ($32 after stupid fees.. ) and it definitely wasn't sold out. The opener, Kelley Stoltz, had a good sound too, but he didn't put on a show anywhere near the Raconteurs. Enjoy the show! :ninja:

..and my dumb ears are still ringing.

I was expecting them to be that price here too. I was shocked to see otherwise and I think that's what really influenced my decision in the end. Even though they rock at a certain point, for me at least, a night out for a concert just isn't worth that much. Although even though I paid less for admission, the Fillmore was charging $6 for a Miller Light. Highway robbery!

Holy crap, did they rock my world last night. Absolutely one of the best shows I've seen this year. If not the best (tied with Elbow).

Also, Jack White has a really great ass.

What covers did they do when you saw them? Gnarls Barkley had played the night before at First Ave and Jack said they had seen them play and then they busted out "Crazy."

Here's an mp3 of that from a few nights before in SF.

The Raconteurs - "Crazy (Live 7-23-06)"

Thay didn't do anything 'crazy' like that when I saw them. They did do their usual Bowie cover, "it ain't easy," and they also did a really good cover of Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang." I can't remember if they did any others.

Why, thank you! They did do "Bang Bang," too.

Even the crazy old woman who kept jostling everyone (including her husbands elbow into my boobs constantly), whipping her sweat off her stringy hair into my face and almost getting into a fight with the couple standing next to me; and the old guy standing in front of the guy I was talking to ripping the nastiest fart I've been around in a while (the guy pointed him out and said, "He did it right in my mouth.") couldn't dampen the experience.

I guess it was an interview backstage at First Ave before soundcheck.

I don't remember anything other than "Bang Bang" and "Crazy," but they were both really great. Just a really, really excellent show.

I didn't really know a damn thing about them until I saw a feature article on them in the Houston Chronicle.

I had no idea this was Jack White's new band.

I youtubed 'em and came up with all kinds of cool stuff to listen to.

This will be my next CD purchase for sure.

I went by myself. No one was interested when I bought tickets, then all of a sudden right before the show everyone wanted to go. Suckers.

I took one of my cousins and her friend to see Jimmy Eat World about four years ago. Her friend thought I was 20 years old, because I didn't ditch them to go upstairs and drink. Hahahahahaha.

went to the Raconteurs show at Roseland in NYC on Tuesday :headbanger: as expected it was great. they basically played the Broken Boy Soldiers album with a few covers. Encore closer was "Blue Veins". really good show, only complaint is that it ended to quickly. but overall :headbanger:
