fxdx_2003 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Good, I can still hate that no-talent assmeg. Great now he can intercept Brady 4 times in practice instead of during a game!
ROCKET 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Maybe he can pick up his 4th DUI
SayChowda 0 Posted April 4, 2006 CMH, what are your thought on him?
cmh6476 1,025 Posted April 4, 2006 CMH, what are your thought on him? he's a very, very good Nickel, and a decent No. 3. Not sure why the Chiefs didnt even make an effort to resign him, could have been due to his off-field troubles
SayChowda 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Yeah, he won't be starting in my opnion unless their is an injury. Ellis Hobbs and Asante should be the two staring CBs.
Bad_Mo_focher 1 Posted April 4, 2006 If he had trouble navigating in and around KC while buzzed......what the hell is he gonna do in Boston and/or Providence ?
cmh6476 1,025 Posted April 5, 2006 I definitely wouldn't be upset in the least about this signing: Patriots | Contract update: WarfieldTue, 4 Apr 2006 13:28:59 -0700 New England Patriots CB Eric Warfield signed a two-year contract with base salaries of $710,000 (2006) and $720,000 (2007). bigtuna 0 Posted April 5, 2006 He is a 5th corner or 4th safety in NE at veteran minimum. Prolly a decent deal. Hobbs and Samuel are likely the starters with Randall Gay in that 3rd slot (although i like Samuel in the slot cause Gay has the size to handle the outside) I think Warfield and Chad Scott will fight it out with a rookie draft pick for the 4th/5th corner spots. He will see a lot of special teams action.

I just think the Chiefs were disinterested cause of his off the field problems, but that can be fixed.
Baby Jesus 0 Posted April 5, 2006 I don't think Warfield is a very good option at #2 corner. He gets burned way too much. But he is fast, rangey, athletic, and has great jumping ability. That's a perfect nickel or dime back.
redtodd 7 Posted April 6, 2006 I think he is worth testing out as a Nickel or Dime back.
