dbcooper1 0 Posted April 28, 2006 Knowing Carl he'll draft another running back in the first round to sit for a couple years behind LJ or to use as leverage with LJ at contract time. I could see a possible TE going in the first round though because we only have a couple of those. Lord knows Wilson has been a benefit. Maybe they give up all our draft picks for Walker. That way Carl can get his annual kickback from AARP. CMH what are your thoughts?
Portis26 0 Posted April 28, 2006 if they go anything but defense with thier first round pick - the franchise should just QUIT the NFL entirely
cmh6476 767 Posted April 28, 2006 CMH what are your thoughts? They better not draft anything other than secondary, linebacker, D-Linemen, or maybe WR if there is just someone you cannot afford to pass up in the 1st couple rounds. Unless maybe DaBrick is still there with their first pick, or maybe Leinert or someone of that nature
dbcooper1 0 Posted April 28, 2006 I'm with Portis on this. Defense all the way! We need some guys that play smash mouth. Someone who will hit a guy and then stand over him glaring as his lifeless body twitches. I'm tired of the players that just try to arm tackle and only that in a halfa$$ way. Mack 1 6 Posted April 28, 2006 There were numerous KC games I watched this year that I needed the defense to make a stop so LJ could get back on the field and do his thing. But each time the defense faltered and the KC offense rotted on the sideline. That defense is bad and has been for the better part of five years. They couldn't be so dumb as to choose a WR or O-lineman, could they?
ROCKET 0 Posted April 28, 2006 Seems like just yesterday when the masses bashed KC for taking that worthless PSU RB in the late 1st round. Most so-called experts here said he'd be the next Kijana Carter, wasn't worth a fock and they blew it seeing how they already had Priest
cmh6476 767 Posted April 28, 2006 DE Jared Allen OLB Derrick Johnson MLB Kawika Mitchell CB Pat Surtain seem to be about the only guys really pulling their weight on defense. We really need help at Safety (even though Knight and Wesley will likely start next year), Corner to push Battle and Lenny Walls, OLB to compete with Kendrell Bell who hopefully took a nice pay decrease this offseason, and then DE to make Hicks play better or maybe DT to push all the warm bodies filling that position. Just draft some fockin defense please, and dont waste a second rounder on a TE thats never going to play
dbcooper1 0 Posted April 28, 2006 Hey Mack... Yes, Carl could be that dumb! It is like he is bi-polar or something. He has some tremendously inciteful (or lucky) picks and then he has some that leave you
