Agreed Chris Berman's act is way too tired. (for that matter can i get rid of Trey Wingo, Kenny Mayne and Stuart "spoken Word" Scott as well)?

 

Keep Kiper, but bring in a competitor to argue with him. Jaws is awesome...but Steve Young is useless.

Right at the outset Berman's voice was shot. When I saw Irvin at the desk I knew there was alot of the coverage gone to hell, too.

 

I like Kiper, who doesn't get enough time, Mort, Jaws and their field ops.

 

Hate Hoge, Irvin, TJ and Salisbury.

 

Berman is wingin' his script and it shows. Not funny or entertaining. Or insightful. He is stretched too thin.

After reading this...I'm glad I watched NFL network instead. When the coverage is more about the media personel then the players, there is something wrong.

 

I've grown tired of ESPN's schtick. There are some guys on that network that are still good and I would listen to anyday, like Mortensen and Clayton. But overall, the network is just going down the tubes.

Anyone else notice that every year Berman feels like Kiper is upstaging him? It sounds that way because once Mel gets going, Berman always makes some snarky comment about him getting wound up. If I hear the cab driver routine for another year...
