MDC 8,048 Posted April 30, 2006 I saw this last night because it's about a child molestor so I figured I'd like it (kidding). It started out pretty good. In the opening you see an IM conversation between obviously an older guy and a preteen girl, kind of flirty, they make plans to meet at a cafe. He kind of smooths on her there, takes her to his place and nothing real sexual happens but it's creepy, how they're sort of flirting together and he's offering her alcohol and stuff. Anyway, he gets drugged and wakes up strapped to this table with his pants off - she's tearing his place apart looking for kiddie porn and getting read to castrate him! The acting and direction was very good, particularly the girl, and up to this part pretty entertaining, but the longer it went on the more implausible and ridiculous right up until the end. I saw a preview for it last night and a few weeks ago, I think when I saw Slither? Made it look really interesting, that might be next on my list. How did you like it? Made it look really interesting, that might be next on my list. How did you like it? Brick was entertaining. The Levitt kid from 3rd Rock has talent. It's a noir film with teenagers. One major aspect of the film is too over-the-top for my taste but Brick is still worth watching. Plus Richard Roundtree aka Shaft has a small role in the film. You gotta like that.
