Jwood 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Too complicated for me to try to figure out who got the better end of that deal. Good grief. How many lawyers did you guys have to bring in on that one.

adam smitty 0 Posted June 3, 2004 I'd enter those into a draft calculator to see how even/uneven it really is but I dont have that much time
Kilroy 0 Posted June 3, 2004 It looks like a very fair trade IMO, Shugar42 dropped in the first but he moved up alot of spots in with everything else included. Depending on who he gets at #11 he may have made out extremely well in that deal. At the same time I think Hoo's made a good move by jumping up to the #3 spot. Good trade for both sides IMO. adam smitty 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Well the draft calculator says it is close but not exactly even [CODE]12250(what hoos first gave up) and 12779(what shugar gave up)
Kilroy 0 Posted June 3, 2004 Well the draft calculator says it is close but not exactly even [CODE]12250(what hoos first gave up) and 12779(what shugar gave up) How the hell does that thing work? It's not like it knows what players will fall to each position, doesn't make sense to me....

Each pick has a given value and it adds up the totals...IMO it gives you a ballpark estimate of wheter or not the trade at hand is close or not
